Which is more important: Creativity or Efficiency?

I would like to keep my views points on this topic.

According to me, creativity and efficiency both are important. Creativity means getting new ideas, new innovations, and doing things in a different way and efficiency means the quality of achieving the largest amount of useful work using as little energy, and effort. So in life, both are important.

According to me, creativity is far more important than efficiency because when there is creativity, there will be a chance of improving the efficiency of the system. I will try to elaborate on it with an example suppose, you are an owner of an organisation and the organization is running for more than 5-6 years, every day producing the same product. So, you will surely try to increase the profit of the organisation by cutting down the rate of producing per unit which will require a new method of producing the product. There comes a role of creativity, getting a new idea to increase the profit will definitely help you to be creative and that's what creativity is all about.

What I believe is that creativity and efficiency is a two-phase of one coin both are plays and very important role if we see the success company they both have creativity as well as efficiency and those people are geting success easily who have both.

In my view, creativity is a product of efficiency. In business point of view, efficiency means producing results with less time and energy. This can only be achieved if one is creative enough to crack the hidden patterns in the process. I believe many inventions happened for the sole purpose of being efficient, for example, telephone, machines, trains etc. I conclude by saying creativity is important to achieve efficiency.

I believe that both are important, but if I need to choose one then I will go for efficiency as being efficient in whatever goal we have or whatever we are working on is more important.

One can be creative thinking and not efficient in his creation field will not be valued more, but efficiency in whatever field working can result in good and can be appreciated.

If creativity and efficiency are together then it would accelerate your creation.

Well, no doubt creativity without efficiency and vice versa are incomplete.

Creativity lies in human nature and where are we today because we were creative. But responsibility is a term that always missing among homo-sapiens. And because of that, our creativity remained inefficient. And that leads to the exploitation of natural resources as well as human resources.

And we finally reached a stage that is a critical need to utilise human creativity efficiently. And develop a sense of morality and inculcate a vision to use creativity efficiently.

My vote goes to creativity because in my perspective, efficiency is the outcome of the creativity which leads us to create this comfortable, efficient world that we have now.

In other words, creativity is a thing that the same work can be done in different ways, any one of those ways from will have more efficiency compared to others.

Imagine a world without phones, its an object invented by humans to skip the complex communication system, right!?

Now, with only one object, we can communicate from anywhere of the world.

So, I am trying to say that without creativity nothing can be effective.

According to me creativity and efficiency are both equal. There should be a balance of both creativity and efficiency in a person's life. For example, if a person has a creative mind and ideas but is not efficient he/she will not be able to work on those creative ideas and the same for efficiency if a person is efficient but can't think creatively there is no point in being efficient.

Efficiency is more important because it is the main thing for the creative idea, and the efficiency is needed to carry forward the idea which is out of creative brain.

Creativity is more important as the results regarding creativity can be extraordinary. Efficiency can be increased after creativity but efficiency can only be increased upto a certain limit if there is no creativity. Sometimes, thinking something out of the box leads to unexceptional results.
