Hi guys,

India is like China, with a rapid increase in population. If its population increases, so does its economy, as there will be cheap labour, which will attract investors to come and start businesses. And when its economy increases, more and more people become more rich and educated, then India will become a more economically developed country, and then its people will start to have less babies, as they will work more, then the population will decrease. Don't you see? Its just a cycle going round and round.

Hi I'm Anjana and my opinion is that the government had done and think about to reduce the population, and day by day in our India population is increased and as well as increased influence so it is important to reduce the population and government had to rules or constraints and laws on population. A basic problem in our country is that many peoples are not graduated and they do not think about family planning so its is very important that all the people know what is the side effect of increasing the population.

We are facing many problems with this increasing population. If this continues we can't find land to live. government laws also don't affect this increasing population. Only alternative for this problem is changing the people mindset. Government has to conduct more programs to show the bad affects if this continues.As there is no awareness in rural areas so government has to conduct awareness programs in rural area. Then they will know the disadvantages of over population and limit their children to one or two.

@miss pauly.

I am totally disagreed with your opinion which says there is nothing wrong in having more children if one have enough money to bear them up with better quality. We are trying to control population so that every living individual should live in a good social and economical atmosphere. No matter how much money they have. There children will take his share of resources. So being capable of bearing up can't be seen as a reason that they don't have any responsibility in controlling population.

Immediate measure for this should be to shoot all rapists and thugs irrespective of their religion and position. India don't need them.

Atleast jails will be free and resources can be used for better utilised and innocent people can walk on streets without fear.

I am sure that will get reduce lot of junk population from India.

By imposing strict family planning rules, next few generations may end up with more aging population and that can cause major problem with economic growth and Productivity.

Population is an asset to a country but only when that population is literate and young enough to work and take challenges. As in the case of the United States we can see that the country is not overpopulated but their working force is of comparatively older age, around 39 years, so they need a younger population. On the other hand average age of Indian population is about 22 years which is certainly a boon to the country but the bulk of this young population is illiterate which makes it useless.

According to my point of view increase in population is curse of our society. I wonder why people don't think about future planning, actually illiteracy is the main problem behind it, but we should start it from our family. I think now a days one child policy should be adopted by doing this we can give all facility what he/she is has to get. It will effect for others then our family members, neighbors, locality, city, then to the nation. It needs some action to perform don't need words.

The pace of population growth in India has reduced to certain extent in the last decade as compared to other decades. Now in 2014 in India maximum parents has an average of 2 children but in 1970 it was 4. It means that ppl are more getting education about sex and birth control. So education is the only way to get rid of this problem. I think that the cities, towns are on the right track but the village should come in the limelight. They need more education to eradicate this problem.

Hello friends, My name is Krishna. Day by day our country's population is increasing. Mainly of illiteracy, lack of awareness on sex. The Government should provide awareness of population, what happens if population increases what are the disadvantages happens with examples they should give clear explanations to all by social media, by Advertisements.

Like example: Now a days in India there is a lack of rice, water, underwater too, and last but not least Jobs.

Thank you.

Hi friends,

Increasing in population is one of the major problem in India. This is happening because the people don't have awareness. i.e they don't know what problems will we face due to increase in population. So government should take care of this and implement some plans to control this. Not only government, media also need to put some awareness programs about this.

And finally when ever people realize the problems that we are facing then only it will control.
