I am talking from my perspective, not being an Indian citizens. I am from Norway. I hope you can see it from my side please.
Do we not want to live in a world where everyone gets their needs and supplies for their families? having a life is something every soul should be able to experience. We have all seen poor people who does not have jobs, or so because they did not have money for education. Think about others for once! When you were a child you went to school and university and got a manageable job that supplies for you and your family. Those children being born today on the street in India, with a sick parent. What choice do they have? NON! Was it their fault that their mother was sexual abused and got pregnant? NO. Now imagine this child. How can the child go to school, where he/she has to get money to go to, without even having money. This child lives in a country or society that does not care about this one child. The government can not keep track on every citizens. They can't care about this child, because they don't know she/he exist! There are so many kids that are not noticed by the government because they are less worthy and poor living on the street. Some kids might be forced to ask for money on the street. Who do they get forced to do this by? Who is standing behind the wall and taking the money the kids earn right out of their hands?
All this! Has to do with the country not having control over all its people. The country is too small itself to keep as many people in it. The Planet Earth is not capable to have overpopulation. It is of course not just India having this problem, but since we are discussing India's population issue. There is a clear problem I would say, and anyone can see that somehow. I think that for the people who are poor and living on the street, think of how much better their live would be if they wouldn't have to live there. The country's population is increasing more and more. The positive impact of India is that they will get a bigger military and become the greatest country in the world. If this is what India wants then they are going in a positive direction for themselves. Though where do they get their military service from? The younger adults and kids on the street. Those mums who did not have money to serve the children she has. The children have to start working from very young ages. Most people reading this now, has someplace to live, money to care for them. When the population increases more and more, believe how many people there would be walking around. Do they have a place to live? There is known that the villages in India are to be the biggest problem. Are they the problem? If you compare them to the big cities in India, what is the difference? Big!
I just want to create a bigger awareness of what big impact the population growth have on India. It is not all negative believe me, but there are major consequences that will come! Hope you think about it, and place yourself in this one child situation born on the street.

Population explosion is severe problem of our country. India secured 2 nd rank in population list.
Population increase leads to unemployment, Poverty, decrease in nonrenewable resource, decreasing GDP, Low per capita income etc.
The root cause of the issue is illiteracy. Village or poor people still think that they will have more children, children will support them when they will become young and more children means more money. They also feel that If they have more children, people will afraid from them and they will not mess or screw up their life.
In order to overcome ever increasing population issue, following measure must be undertaken:.
1). Policy of two kids must be taken seriously. Serious or legal action should be taken against those who violate the rules. The one who abide the rule must be charged 40 % income tax.
Flexibility should not be supported event for people who earned enough regarding producing more people only because they are able to bear up. Population control should be responsibility of each individual then only we can have control over it.
2). Government should organize or conduct more awareness program specially for people in village to make them understand about the disadvantage and effect of population explosion issue. We or govt should take Stringent action over illiteracy. Government should work towards better education system so that at least basic education should be provided to everyone in the country.
3). Awareness regarding family planning should be created among people with the help of media.
4). Contraceptive measure should be explain through different ads or advertisement in the tv or radio etc with the help of doctors or popular personality like Amitabh bachchan. We all know that he pulse polio advertisement by amitabh created history and we can expect the same again.

As we know China is the most populous country In the world while India in on the second position. It is a burning issue for India. So, it has taken the form of overpopulation. So, it has become explosion for India. Now one question is arise in my mind, what is the population?
The number of people who live in fixed geographical area is cooled population. Now one question is another striking my mind is population explosion for India?
No, the population is not explosion for any state or country but over population is problem for any state or country
Now I am going to talk about the reason of increasing population,
There are so many reasons but mainly two reasons.
1) Big gap between birth rate and death rate.
2) migration.
As we know today India birth rate in approx 22 and death rate is approx 6, so there is a gap between 16. We could control the death rate by the invention of medical science, stopping wars, proper nutrition, and sanitation but we could not control birth rate due to many reasons like as,
- Lake of education
- Child marriage
- Poverty
- Religion and tradition
- Status of women is low
- Lack of government policy
Migration: Immigration is a problem in some parts of the world. If the inhabitants of various countries migrate to a particular part of the world and settle over there, the area is bound to suffer from the ill effects of overpopulation. If the rates of Immigration from a certain nation do not match the rates of immigration to that country, overpopulation makes its way. The country becomes overly populated. Crowding of immigrants in certain parts of the world results in an imbalance in the density of population.
Thank you.

I agree with most of the views shared. As per the existing growth trend, India's population will stabilize by 2050. Already, India is home to most of the poor of the world besides Sub Saharan Africa. Our cities are becoming slums. Water bodies are contaminated making drinking water scarcity. Other issues like food, school education, transport, medical care all are adversely strained due to population explosion.
Irrespective of such visible consequences, any deeply concerted effort has not been taken so far. Population growth rate has been declining at a natural slow pace based on the upliftment of education level in generations. I believe there lies an immense potential, if we follow seriously a following multi-pronged outcome driven approach:
1) Besides enhancing reach of basic education, there is a need to impart adult education so that people enjoy their sex lives without increasing population.
2) Birth rate need to be contained particularly in rural areas of developing states, and for this, there is a need to arrest the infant/child deaths so that people feel secure after having single child.
3) People in rural areas need to be actively engaged in debate and implementation of family planning policies.
4) Government should provide lucrative incentives to families having single child.
5) District Officers should be provided target to contain population and on achievements they should be publicly recognized/awarded.
6) Media should come foreword by showing good & bad examples/cases and its consequences.

Hi,
I think increasing Population is the biggest challenge for India our population is inc day by day. There should be at least some.
Major steps which our gov. Should definitely take and these are as follows:
# Govt Should provide more and more jobs so that peoples in rural areas do not require many children to earn bread.
# Govt Should organize family planning camps and also try to aware them benefits of small family.
# Govt Should order medical shops that are in rural areas to sell contriseptic pills and other precautionary things at much lower prices to people.
# Govt Should also try to hold '' PANCHAYATS'' in rural areas and make people aware of equality of gender because.
This is also one of the biggest cause of inc. Population i.e. "BOY" they continuously give births to children until they.
Get a son.
# Govt Should also provide some special benefits to people who have one or only two children. This will encourage.
Others also to reproduce less.
# Govt Should also take strict actions against early marriages in rural areas.
# Govt Should make it compulsory for those people who have two children '' STERILIZATION '' for man or woman any.
One from the couple.
# Govt Should also encourage more and more in urban areas to ''ADOPT A CHILD '' rather than reproduce, and provide these couple some extra benefits.
These are some of the major actions/ steps that must govt of India should take if they seriously want to get INDIA rid of this big problem.

India is the most corrupted country of the world. There are several reasons for that but one is 'POPULATION OF INDIA IS INCREASING DAY BY DAY' and that problem is due to the thinking of people.
In India people want sons so they keep doing girls and after a certain time they get a boy and they are satisfied for that particular time but after wards they realize that they are not able to give the babies their needs as they don't have money (most of the families have many members in family and less money) then the development and future of the baby as well as country both are effected. And after that when undeveloped person gets the power it's a problem for the whole country because that person will never be able to take care of such a big population and if they are undeveloped than it's impossible. India is the seventh largest country of the world not the largest so people should keep this in mind. And even. Pakistan and other countries like Bangladesh etc. They have better condition than India in each sector. Education and all. If not them. See America and all those countries.
Please keep a rule of doing not more than two babies. Irrespective of having many girls and boys. Because. If people have one it's enough and better you adopt orphans and take care of them. And yeah girls can do better if you give them chance. Give them respect more than boys because they have to take more problems than boys. I hope you get it. What I said.

In my view really the government had taken all the necessary steps to get rid away from this problem. People has to overcome about this. Even all the rules came in to the concern the people are not following them. This is because of illiteracy and uneducated people in villages and rural areas. They don't know the problem which govt is facing when the population is increasing, they just think about their convenience and their family background.
Some people with large families even from educated background, will allows their children to do the same thing and give birth to many children to fulfill their views and things. This is still going on. Mostly this people will also be educated but even though they won't follow. Because the rules which came in to concern are not strictly maintained and they won't bother even. Its not the whole problem was because of villagers even the same with educated. It should come from heart and soul that we should follow some rules to make our nation to live freely and conveniently.
But no one is correct in this world. Until this remains we won't reach the place like other countries are reaching. In our country all the PEOPLE are selfish about their beings not about the govt and about the rules and regulations, their no difference between educated and uneducated. TRULY and MAINLY EVERYONE SHOULD CHANGE AND THEN MAKE OTHERS TO CHANGE. THEN OUR COUNTRY WILL BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THAN OTHERS.

Hi friends,
I have written essay letter regarding "Increasing of population and it's disadvantages" in my 10th class around 22 Years ago. Till now there won't be much difference in this front. Those days also I have seen TV advertisement regarding population control. Plans are there for population control, but where we have failed is at implementation level. Our government is so negligence they haven't take any strong action against that. Government should give good benefits to those families who are following family planning. For them we should provide free education, some cash benefits and free hospitalization etc and the same should be advertised frequently in our cities and villages. So that people will feel what advantages we get if we control our family.
Today if you go to railway station or bus stand or any mall or market or even hospital every where you feel very difficult to get into only because large crowed. If I go to the temple I could not even pray for 5 minutes then what is the point to go to the temple by so many hours in standing in the long queue. Here we can't blame to any one except ourselves and our week systems. So, here we should not blame to the government only, we should blame ourselves also for creating such a large populated country 130 crores +.
Thanks.

As we all aware that India and china are leading nations for having reached at big numbers in the population. In India, usual practice, People say in order to eliminate illiteracy factors, the proof of burden might envisages the path to curtail the population. Never! Never! Never! It must be even in the hands of Literate, mainly males restraint to undergo surgery after getting a child for a family. Here the male chauvinism does not allow themselves to take any measures. For anything, there is no need to suffering of woman. It has to be enforced rule on the part of man first.
Indian families always give importance to a child soon after their marriage partners. It is from the beginning until now practiced as custom rule to be followed. It must be eliminated from the viewpoint of Individual awareness. The child desire should be from marrying partners own concession. Just living and doing birth for society and others desire should be broken out. Though we live in techno society the impact of old usages and practices without self thinking prevails. The change in the mindset of individuals is the basic root begin this voyage. Literacy with common sense have to be yielded across tartars who ensue earth natural disasters on a whole.

As we all know that our country is emerging country in the world. But there are certain factors which create hindrance on the path of development like over population, illiteracy and poverty they all are interlinked with each other.
Like illiteracy causes population, and population causes poverty and all are causes negative impact on development, so first of all we or govt take stringent action over illiteracy because it is root of all problem. Govt should work on effective education system like cash transfer scheme type of policy that will provide education to those who needy aspirant.
To control population first they create awareness among rural areas as we all know that illiteracy ratio is more in rural areas rather than urban. To do advertising campaign in harts mela or through wall advertisement and education model should be prepared for them.
Those who have less than 3 children will provide more subsidy as compared to other.
Govt should increase education cess by 3% it removes shortage of fund for education and encourage people for quality education.
Education not even for children but also for women and for older age people special classes should be conduct for them in rural ares.
