What shall we do about our Ever-Increasing Population?

The topic is what shall we do about our ever increasing population. So I would first like to focus on some of the problem that arises due to the vast population. Large population means large resource consumption, more illiteracy, more unemployment, more congestion, more diversity, and most importantly these factors will lead to higher inflation as the gap between demand and supply will be increased. More demand and less supply. So it must be controlled. However population can not be controlled by the government only.

It must be brought to the knowledge of common people especially rural. So more awareness campaign need to be done in order to stop this fast growing population. But only campaigning is not going to help. Unless the people get the education they will not be able to understand the side effects of large population. So ultimately government need to do the arrangement for the education of the people so that at least the basic education must be gained by everyone. I know that there are various programs run by government to give free education to the people but it needs to be implemented correctly otherwise we will surly going to beat China in the population in next few years.

Population explosion is the biggest problem mankind is facing today. All the other social and economical problems are directly related to increasing population. Main reason of increasing population in our country is illiteracy. There is no awareness among the people of our country. What we can do to stop increase population.

1. Government must start a awareness programme in villages to reduce population.

2. Provide facilities like food, medical, education at low cost to only those families in which there are 1-2 children. Those who has more than 2 children are dismissed from the scheme.

3. Provide a education specially to girl children.

4. Government should take a help of teachers & other government employees to spread a awareness.

5. Road shows. Banners, skits, advertisement on radio, on television with the help of popular person (like icon for plus polio is mr. Amitabh bacchan) that advertisement create history we are now polio free country, may same we can experience in the case of population.

Hi, I am Pankaj Sharma and want to share my views on increasing population. As we know our population goes increasing every day, only make a concerns about it but not seems its positive effects on controlling. Because simple only concerning is not the solution of any problems. For controlling this problem first we should define the role of government and common people like NGO or other awareness institutions which is involved in this directly or partially. We should take our responsibility with seriousness and also defined its output in reference to time.

We should in increase our speed for working and checked its output if we not found positive responds then change its matter and made necessary improvements. By which we also can check its response. Government should promote one hand those family follow family planning by rewarding some reservation for limited time and give some attractive facilities in every governmental field and other hand band those people who should not follow law of family planning and on that cases government should follow strictly and quickly. Without taking some hard and strict steps, birth controlling in India is not possible. So please.

Majority of the people on this group are firm believers of the fact that our population is indeed one of the biggest threat that our nation is facing. With advances in health care and technology, we certainly have won the battle against infant mortality and many other ailments, but on the other side, we have failed miserably in checking the birth rate. And so now, we are adding Australia (in terms of population) every year.

Also, unlike China, where the one child policy has been implemented properly with proper follow up, it is impossible to implement the same as India consists of a large number of religions and being a democratic country, it has to take under consideration the interests of all the different religions and groups. So, in my opinion, we only have one option left, i.e. creating awareness. That is the only possible, viable solution to this problem. Big companies and industries can include awareness programs about the family planning in their CSR activities. Also, govt should make people aware about the same through different broadcasting mediums and I am sure that just like the case of polio, Govt can do wonders in this arena too.

First of all I would like to ask a question, 'does anybody studied about any civilization which was destroyed by its increasing population?' Actually all the civilizations, which were well developed, were destroyed by their decreasing population. So increasing population considered as a problem itself a big problem. You can't blame population over mismanagement of services.

You can consider beggars which are useless, otherwise every person gives service to the nation. 20 years ago Singapore was not a well developed country, because of their low population. But now its a well developed country. Actually their prosperity increased with their population. Now their population density is more than India.

Another fact is the population of a country is increased up to only that level, to which the natural as well as artificial resources of that country allow. If the population crosses that limit the nature itself balances it. So we should not worry about our increasing population instead of it we should be proud of our population because:

TO MAKE THIS COUNTRY WELL DEVELOPED AND PROSPEROUS WE NEED MORE AND MORE HANDS.

One child policy was a policy introduced in 1979 to control population of China. China also claimed that it was successful in implementing the policy. India being the 2nd most populous country in the world should also adopt these methods to see growth rate in the economy. The china has seen the growth rate by implementing this policy.

Also if there is more population than more consumption of natural resources and there is limited resources so we should conserve natural resources by implementing one child policy.

Now a day pollution become one of the biggest issue which is the result of more population, if there will less population than there will less pollution which is coming out from vehicles as a result people's will more healthy. One can think that Vehicles pollution can be controlled by using CNG but CNG is not available in bulk mass so there is no option other than decreasing population.

At last I would like to say that one day must come when Indian government must have to implement one child policy so, it is better to implement as soon as possible so that this generation can come out of home without wearing mask.

What is a population. Population is all the inhabitants present in particular place. We are all know India is a developing country and the growth is steady and stable. Along with India facing so many problems. In those one is population. Population explosion is due to lack of awareness in the people. In case of this growth in population we have some advantages and some more disadvantages. Coming to advantages with increase in population.

1) Availability of labour is high.
2) We get high skilled labour.
3) In war situation the country will the large people will get upper hand.

Coming to disadvantages:.

1) Lack of resources like land, oil and food Etc.
2) Lack of unemployment.

Following measures should be sought to control the population in our country:

1. Measures to increase Per-capita Income.
2. Urbanization and Industrialization.
3. Late Marriage.
4. Lowering Infant Mortality Rate.
5. Spread of Education.
6. Women education and employment.
7. Family Planning Facilities.
8. Incentives.
9. Publicity.
10. Legislation.

Hi, friends as we all know that the population of our country is increasing day by day. So, the people's attitude towards marriage, family size and child birth must change before we can hope to achieve a substantial decline in the birth rate. According to 2001 census, the total population of Andhra pradesh was nearly 7,50,000.

Broadly speaking, there are three general and main causes for increase in the population of a country.

-> High birth rate.
-> Relatively lower death rate.
-> Immigration.

Population explosion is one of the obstacles for the development of the economy. So, the government has to take remedial measures to decrease the population explosion like removal of poverty poor people have virtually no interest in limiting the size of their families. Living in poor conditions they are habitual to laziness so, they are depending on their children earnings if they have more children they can earn more.

So the attitude of the people towards the population must change. People should have more knowledge about family planing. And another thing is the education also brings down the population.

As we know increasing population is one big issue we talking about. So just concentrate on solutions. Like.

1. People should made aware about the benefits of having small family.

2. Government should encourage those individual who choose to have just on child by announcing certain facilities to them. So that other could have a lesson.

3. Also Government should announce a date something like a family who has more than two children born after January 2013 will not be entitled to any government facilities like subsidized food, fuel, and other such facilities. (here one thing is important that I have mentioned date as jan. 2013 so that for family who is planning to have a baby in future, who already have two or more children. ).

4. Government should set example by punishing the doctors and clinic owners who perform female fortitude at their clinic.

5. Government should launch some programs specially for girls like free education, scholarship, and other financial help.

6. Government should make strict laws for dowry system. Without dealing this evil we can't claim better result in this field.

Hello good morning my dear friends, according to my opinion the government had done something to reduce the population but it could not actually succeed. So, I think we should implement certain laws and benefits for the people who has one child or else two.

And only implementing certain rules could not only reduce the population we should make people aware about the disadvantages of overpopulation. We should go in a groups to villages and organize awareness camps though which we can gradually reduce the population.

And excluding that we should make proper use of population (manpower). We should make use of each and every individual to improve our country's economy through which increasing population gets an advantageous issue to our country.

We must make every person to get a minimum level of education so that it could help to increase our country's economy and also reduce the population as due to proper education they get to know the disadvantages over the increase in population.

So I finally conclude that people must be made aware about the issue to promote reduce in population.
