Hello friends, increasing population of India is one of the major issue of our country. Several steps were taken in regards to awareness in this terms. But still India is 2nd most country with largest population. People should be made aware that if no actions are taken in time, the situation would be out of control and it would raise other problems like unemployment, poverty, thefts, robbery, starvation etc.

Its prime duty of every couple to think that when they give birth to a child they are capable to make that child a good and well developed citizen, only then our country would be progressing at faster rate.

Hey friends, according to me the measures that we must take in order to control overpopulation are: Awareness should be provided to people regarding the disadvantages to over population, Illiterate people should be tought about the benefit and need of family planning, Strict rules should be made against those who don't follow the rule of max two children, Contraceptive measures should be provided for controlling population, Campaigning can also enlighten people in this direction so that they can take initiative to understand the benefit of family planning and bring it in use for controlling population.

In my opinion, some solution to this problem may be adopted like educating the people whether small or adult especially the children and subject like health education must be introduced so that they would aware about the concept of family planning and sex education. They must know that value of small family and disadvantages of a large one. As for government, they should follow the policy of foreign countries like those individuals have more than one or two children he/she cannot get any job in public/government sector, and I think this should be the best way to control high birth rate in our country.

The main problem with India is it's poverty. If we analyse the ratio nearly 40% is still under poverty line and thus illiteracy still exists. In order to curb the ever increasing population we need to encourage literacy so that people get to know the cons of increasing population. Government has a big role to play by spreading the word. India should become more open rather than being confined to their traditions and speak about protected sex, contraceptives in the open. Only then India has a chance to remain second to China else it will be the leader in population a fact which we wont be proud of.

The more children families in poverty have, the harder it is for them to get out of poverty. I am australian and am living in India for one year. I may be wrong, but I think the poverty and population in India is too long gone to do anything about it. It would require billions of dollars to change anything in india, and with a corrupt government, this will never happen. Im sorry to say it, but I don't think anything is going to change in India. Poverty will always be here. The only way I see it changing is to impose a 1 child law, and if people have more than 1 then they have to pay a large fine.

In my views population is the big problems in nowadays. Because every person want to become success but they are facing lot of problems such as deerness, corruption etc. The most useful solution of this problem is that every person should be illiterate or at least one person of any family who take the right decisions. It helps us to reduce this problem. As my friends said that the unemployability and deerness are also increases by the population. I agree with all of you and it is solve by only because of taking much suitable decisions for our family and also for developing our country.

Over- population has become a major problem for India. As we know India is a developing country not a developed country till now. To become a developed country the country needs its citizens support and understanding. In today's scenario we can see that the country is getting over populated and the citizens are not able to meet all their requirements as resources are limited which leads the country to poverty and the other reason would be illiteracy. As people are not aware about family planning they go on giving birth to number of children which leads to over population.

I don't say that population is really a curse. It is actually a boon as well as an asset for our country.

We people can't force anyone to control population. It is their personal wish to have 1 or 3 children.

Since our country is a developing country we don't have much facilities to accommodate such a big crowd. So if our country becomes a developed one, then it's sure that our country can handle such a big crowd.

For that we have to utilize our brain like Americans and other western countries.

Prevent brain drain and serve for our country.

Population explosion is the biggest problem mankind is facing today. All the other social and economical problems are directly related to increasing population. Yes, we can control it but nobody is going to take it seriously and up to the time we can convince them, it'll be too late.

I am a strong believer of nature and I consider it as almighty. Nature won't tolerate any significant unbalance in any system. In the same way, it will take care of the population explosion. So. Be ready to watch some of the naturals show offs.

If Indian population is growing asset of India itself India would have been in the list of developed countries but our intellectual Indians are showing more interest towards our Indian currency depletion where as it leads to increase in valve of foreign currency. Over population is an evil in developing countries. As resources are limited there should be profitable allocation of resources. As human wants are unlimited every Indian should utilize those wants in the direction of increasing the GDP and PER CAPITAL INCOME.
