Hi friends, population control is not a one day project by a single hand. We are sitting in a chair in pool which water level is increasing. Is it safe! Someone in high level and someone low level height chair but the water surly sink everyone of us. The effect of population growth already affected low class people, increasing price of products like milk, bus ticket, land rate, fuel and more. They are lacking of education. Okay these are effect of population.
How to control this?
Education is main root, government should include the affects of population in the textbooks of school and colleges. And make some special camp for every 3 months for family planning. And we should be strongly act mature. The rate of population growth of India is 1.9 per annum where china is 0.93 per annum. India will be in no. 1 in population by 2030.

Hi guys, This is Ali, In my opinion Increasing population is one of the burning issues of India, There are several factors that help us to control the population but education is the leading factor that could help us to guide the general public about the importance family planning which creates an awareness among all the people.
In fact government also taking all possible steps to have a control on population but I strongly believe that this is the responsibility on every citizen of India to take steps to control our population. Perhaps science and Technology also plays a crucial role in increasing the population, Advanced research on human and highly advanced machinery leads to save the life that result decline in death rate but this technology is not working at the birth decline.

Two in every three in this discussion attributed the rise in population to the lack of awareness among the uneducated/villagers. One of them opined that rich can have three or more children, as they have money or resources to bring them up.
But, by saying this are we not forgetting the importance of saving 'Resources'. Be it for the present generation or for the future generation. If every rich person thinks the same way and go for three or more children, then do you really think the population can be controlled? The catch here is the rise in standard of living. Don't you guys think everyone now can be able to raise two or more children at ease?
Talking about democracy/ rights at the cost of exploiting resources is what we are discussing here, if one scrutinize every comment.

It is sarcastic to know that India stands 7th in world's largest country but 2nd in terms of population. The rate at which India's population is increasing it is absolutely going to bring out numerous problems in India like unemployment, congestion, inflation to name a few.
What I think that its high time we must take some concrete steps to curb thus grave problem.
'Hum do hamare do' policy should be made compulsory for each and every couple other pay tax and this rule must be more strictly followed in rural areas. The notion of more children more earning should be replaced by small family happy family through campaigning. We must feel proud even if we get a girl child instead giving birth unless we get male child. Sterilization should be encouraged in rural areas.

Over-population is one of the major social problem in India. Social evils like poverty, unemployment, child marriage, child labor, etc. All are directly or indirectly related to over- population. I as a student of social work find a lot of cases on the social evils which can be ultimately related with the increasing population.
The Government of India has taken many important steps to control the population so that it does not result to "POPULATION EXPLOSION" and has succeeded to an extent but not to the expectations. I think just making rules, laws, regulation etc will not do; there should be someone so that they can go to the fields and make the people aware. Grass-root Community Development is very important which will ultimately result in NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

Hi, friends :.
I think that the biggest reason behind the so much population of India is poverty and illetrecy. Because poor people thought if they will have more children then their children will support them when they will become young because more children will earn more. And due to illetercy the village person thought if they have more children then everyone will affraid from them and no one will take mess from them.
And other reason is marriage in childhood because in India many person get marry in their childhood so obviously they will have more children. So our government should make such type of rule such that no one can get married before 25-30 years and no one can have more than two children. Then we will be able to control the population.

Read in times of India today abut lay-offs waiting to happen. In a country like India where you don't have social security to protect you, layoffs can be a great shock. With more than a billion people loitering about in the country, with already a low employment rate we have more and more people added into the job industry with hardly any jobs. Whats going on?
Man is selfish and masochistic in this country with a child and without any means to support the child, leave alone the growth of the child but also the basic necessities are a distant dream. Is it so hard to understand? Are we reduced to animals in this country? That we don't understand or we cannot analyse the right time to have a baby. Its starting to be a privileged to see a human here.

Yes friends I am also agree with you. India is a developing country its not a developed country. Our country development mostly depending upon the young people, un education not only the problem of the population, first of all every one having minimum awareness of that. In Indian government should be start one commit and those people main aim is decrease the population. They are conducting awareness programs for all type of people because of that uneducated people living all ares. So at least they can understand if population should be developed in which type of problems faced in future defiantly they understand so this type of programs conducting defiantly we will reduced our population little be this is my point of view. Thanking you.

Hello friends, this is my first time to express my feeling on such a big platform. I hope my points would be considered. See population is the root cause of all problems we are facing today and instead of increasing we should decrease our population Ofcourse not by killing we can control this in 100-150 years for this span of the year it should be mandatory not to have more than one child it's very strict but is only solution otherwise it looks a big mass extinction is very near. Hope it does not hurt any of yours feeling I guess this is only way people keep on blaming science but science is helping to fulfil this increasing population demand if the population would be less then there would be no problem.

Hello guys, my name is Shubham Mishra and I would like to pay attention of your on the topic of population explosion. Let's talk about population explosion. India is second high populated country in this world. If don't use prevention than this will get first high populated country. Let's consider what kind of prevention we should use. Firstly we should take help of NGO and many kind of social worker.
They provide awareness to the Indian citizen and specially rural peoples. Rural people have need to know why sex educate is important in our life. We should tell him what is advantage and disadvantage of population explosion. We should try to make him aware than this will completely stop.
