What shall we do about our Ever-Increasing Population?

Increasing population is a major problem mankind in our country. They don't know the side effect of raising population. We must implement 1-2 children policy in our India. To stop we must do as: 1. Teachers should give awareness to villagers. 2. Government start food, medical and education at low cost for girls.

These are a few hard suggestions for population control.

1. Make it illegal to marry without a Licence, only people who are more than say 24-26 years of age and earning enough to support a family should be allowed to marry.

2. Make it illegal to have children without getting a Licence first. The people on welfare ie. Public distribution system and needing assistance from the government should not be allowed to have children.

3. No one should be allowed to have more than one child. There should be a mandatory vasectomy after one child.

4. All people who are not even able to earn enough to feed themselves should be forcibly vasectomized to prevent them from having children and contributing to population growth. That would be all the beggars, inhabitants of slum clusters and like.

The population control can only be achieved through strict measures and not through mere slogans.

Hi Friends, I would like to suggest my views on this topic. In our country more than 40% people are living below the poverty line. They think more children means more earning. If everyone should realize small family is the happy family than we can solve this problem.

Everything has its limit. But India's population is an exception for it!Ya its true that India's manpower if used properly surely India will progress but here the manpower is wasted on social networking sites.

For controlling the population only restricting up to 2 child's will not go. Awareness is expected. Unless there own slice of bread is not in danger they will never wake.

Hello friends! I am navjot. My opinion is that as we know increasing population is the basic of all problem. If we control our population. All problems will be solved so for this government should make rules and we all should help the govt to follow the rules. Education is necessary to handle these problems.

The main problem with India is it's poverty. If we analyse the ratio nearly 40% is still under poverty line and thus illiteracy still exists. In order to curb the ever increasing population we need to encourage literacy so that people get to know the cons of increasing population. Government has a big role to play by spreading the word. India should become more open rather than being confined to their traditions and speak about protected sex, contraceptives in the open. Only then India has a chance to remain second to China else it will be the leader in population a fact which we wont be proud of.

Hi friends, in my view increasing population in INDIA has both benefits and defects. Why because, at present world's technology developing very fast, for that lots of people are required to develop the technology in efficient way. So we have to use them in a effective manner by providing motivational skills and scholarships, educational centres.

As well as defects also there, that are lack of resources for future generation and lot of pollution, increment in usage of automobiles, unknown diseases.

So government should provide strict rules for family planning. Spreading the news about family planning and its uses for rural people by News papers, radios and TV's.

The one of the reason for our ever increasing population is illiteracy in our country. One good literate couple somewhat better knows about India population and growth and they might be plays a role in population reducing.

Too much of anything is good for nothing, that is so true. With the manpower we have, we can excel in all the fields. But thing is we should keep that in our control. For that, every individual should realize it is taking us deep into a hole, we should not think that Government will take steps to control it. We should take up responsibilities and do whatever we can, to spread awareness.

Today population is a big hurdle in the development of our country because over population causes unemployment and wastage of more sources so we should take steps to solve this problem we should give knowledge to illiterate peoples and govt should make rules to control population such as one child for every couple just like rules made in china.
