As the topic is "We Need More Entrepreneurs than Managers".

I want to put light on the topic as Yes, this statement is right some what and it looks like odd by listening how it can be possible thinking of the need of more entrepreneurs than the managers can't be think it, see if you look at we have more managers than entrepreneurs.

Yes if you look at we need more entrepreneurs for the development of country and to reduce the unemployment rate. But we can't think that we are need of more entrepreneurs than the managers and we are too need of managers as too.

Conclusion :

Yes I agree, we are need of more entrepreneurs for the development of our country but not more than managers we need managers because its the ability of a manager to manage better.

Friends, first of all, we need to understand what do terms managers and entrepreneur actually means. An entrepreneur is a person with ideas, skill, and courage who would take any risk to pursue that idea, to turn it into a reality. Managers are those who manages and controls the functions of a company or an organization.

More entrepreneur means that they would develop new companies by their own skills which is very useful for a developing country. On the other hand, more managers would help in controlling the functions of an organization in a more precise way and in a traditional way. This would be led to development. So, more entrepreneurs are required as it would also provide job opportunities for many youths who are the future of any country.

I am partial towards this statement, according to me, both are needed and we cannot put less weightage on each of them entrepreneurs indeed take more risk, develop ideas and do business while creating more job opportunities where as managers also play a critical role in managing that business setup by entrepreneurs in better utilising all resources, allocating them and achieve the goal of the entrepreneur at the same time fulfil their career goal.

For example, Aman founder of Boat was working as a manager before his entrepreneurship journey he worked in JBL to understand their business, competitors and consumer gap hence which made him achieve in filling the gap by providing standard quality music electronic products at reasonable prices.

We are living in a developing country where manpower is available in a vast range but the only problem is of job creators. Job creator are only person who can be known as entrepreneurs. So entrepreneurs are like plants whereas managers are like fertilisers. While leaves are job seekers so in the absence of fertilisers no leaves and plant can be grown. Therefore manager are the requirement of entrepreneurs because they do not have capitals and can't take risk only things they have is innovative ideas and skills. Entrepreneurs can make use of this resource to make our country developed. So finally concluding that entrepreneur is our first need after that manager both are 2 phase of a coin. So both have their own importance.

Thank you.

Hi Everyone, I think both are important pillars for an organization. Managers are those who have skills to manage all the day to day activities & things which could play crucial role for driving the business well & efficient manner while on the other hand entrepreneurs are having innovative ideas & having an ability to convert those ideas into new business opportunities, ability to take higher risk for higher returns & better economic growth. They create job opportunities for job seekers & managers where these people can give their best for succeeding the business idea & helps in making nation's growth as well hence we need both of them for ensuring the business & economic growth.

Thank you.

I agree with it since Entrepreneurs are someone who introduces some new concept and give a new dimension to the development of a nation. In a developing country like India, there is a need for entrepreneurs who can bring their thoughts into play and help towards the development. We can take the example of Mark Zuckerberg who is the CEO of facebook. We all know what change has facebook brought in our lives. Moreover, it has given a new dimension to communication.

On the other hand, managers are good at managing the things which are already introduced into the society. Managers can help carry forward the idea once it has been implemented.

Hence, I will always be in a favour of having more entrepreneurs than managers.

Hi, all. As the discussion goes on I would share my views saying that an entrepreneur and a manager are like a driver and wheels of an organisation. Any sophisticated and branded car no matter how beautifully it is designed, cannot ascend unless it is driven by someone (an entrepreneur). On the other hand, when the same car doesn't have wheels (the manager), it cannot move ahead in-spite of being provided with an efficient driver. The driver decides the direction and reaches the destination with the help of the wheels. Similarly, the entrepreneur sets the goals and the manager takes all the risk to reach the desired goals. It demands the knowledge (Innovation) of the entrepreneur and skill (Ability) of the manager.

Hello everyone.

Both are important pillars for any organization but in my opinion, we need more Managers. According to a McKinsey report, 90/100startups are failed due to improper management.

Then the government has introduced many programmes such as Startup India and Make in India etc and entrepreneur and manager are just like marketing and sales. Marketing / Entrepreneur means to generate a lead and Sales/ Managers means to convert a lead to sales and all Managers are creative & innovative and also create an investment line for an organization. Take an example of Successful Managers such an Indira Nooyi, Satya Nadela, Sundar Pichai etc and entrepreneur can start only a business but business run by Managers.

Good Evening Friends,

According to me, we need more entrepreneurship than the manager. Obviously, technology will be developed day by day. Entrepreneur makes new things in technical development. In many people startup with their own business. It is an important one. But it also manages the functionality of the business.

In every year above 2000 entrepreneurs are owned by the business. It can develop their own business about their knowledge. It will be increased every year. But managing part is very important. Everyone will startup business. But only a few people can maintain their business. So only the basic knowledge about their business they will become a good entrepreneur and also manager.

Thank You.

Hello everyone I think both play an important role because an entrepreneur can give or create opportunities for the people or the job seekers but managers will manage the day to day activities which entrepreneur cannot do if he do so then there can be a chance of hindrance in the decision making and this also impacts on the profitability of the organization. But if all the task related to day to day activities are managed by the managers than an entrepreneur can focus on the decision making of the organization.

Conclusion: we need both of them because they both are the eyes of the organization and we need more entrepreneur with efficient managers that work for the organization.

Thank you.
