Water resources should be nationalised

Water resources should be nationlised. There will be a shortage of water in next few years & we have to be aware of that.

I support linking of water resources throughout the country. India's economy is based on agriculture and for which water is important part. Interlinking of water resources will provide water to farmers of country and it will enhance our agricultural production. It will also reduce scarcity of water in many parts of our country.

But I think center govt should not make a unique body for it, because it may lead to delay and corruption in managing such a big project. But if all nearby state will co-operate among themselves for linking of water bodies, making small small controlling bodies for nearby states depending upon distribution clauses then it may reduce corruption, delay, political disturbances etc between state and center.

Hi friends, myself Karthik belong to Mailam engineering college. As we all know the importance of water and its advantages without it no life on the earth is possible as I'm from Tamilnadu.

A waterless state and we are searching water for the irrigation purpose and we are facing this problem often because we are left with no water from Karnataka state and the crops are dieing of no water source, so the water resource is to be nationalized is so important for a state like Tamilnadu.

We know that, India is agriculture country and in agriculture water is very necessary resource for it. So if water resources are nationalized then it will be very beneficial for our agriculture and because it manages all the areas water requirement and also it saves water and money.

I feel water resource should be nationalized. Water resource is abundant in some region and there is scarcity of water in many region. If the water resource is equally distributed it would help many villages where there is scarcity of water. The economy of the country will also increase.

Hai am vaishnavi, belongs to Mailam Engineering college. My view is that, the water resources needs to be nationalized, except a few state, everyone here are facing a water scarcity problems, if we nationalize the resources, as India n agricultural country could be improved further. Due to scarcity problems many cultivable lands are being converted into industrial lands. So to solve those problems nationalisation of water needs to be mandatory.

I would like to suggest my views on this topic. According to me water is the natural resource. India is an agricultural country. So water resources will be nationalized means all villages and agriculture also developed. But in urban estates some people misuse the water Government must take necessary steps to remove this problem.

Hi friends its Akash. I read most of your note, I am also in favor of nationalization of water resources like major rivers lakes, etc. But one thing I must say that one water resources water is not possible to distribute to the hole country.

So, a water resources will cover how many states! is due to excessive distribution of water the bio-diversity of the river as well as the state in which river is follow going to changed? Is it would be the cause of drought of the state in which it follows? We have to to look after this type of problems before going to nationalized the water resources.

Who knows it may be cause water war between tow or more states. To avoid these type of complications should be form a high profile committee who would be study the complications and their solutions.

If we are going to nationalized our water resources then we are taking a step forward in order to eradicating the problem among.

States thereby government can distributed the water resources as per their needs. And also as we know that our India totally depend upon our agriculture. JAI HIND.

Hi friends this is Rajesh I believe that water resources should be nationalised, because there are many states and region where there is a scarcity of water. We all might have seen that there are many places where huge amount of water getting wasted everyday, so instead of wasting so much of water government should take certain steps where it is possible to supply those water to the place where there is scarcity of water, as a result both the places will have sufficient amount of water to meet their requirements, this will only be possible when government take strict decision regarding there policies and make people understood that wastage of water is a crime.
