Hi Friends in my point of view nationalization of rivers should be done by all means.

It not only helps the farmers and the middle class it also helps the revenue of our country, the more the farmers grow, the less we are dependent on other countries.

Anyways in the northern side people are vastly getting affected by floods and most of the water goes to sea without proper usage. Even though it increases corruption but lakhs and lakhs of farmers won't die every year because of droughts.

The only solution is govt should start implementing the project in one side and slowly the development will continue to other states.

Its real petty the country which was rich in all wealth and natural resource is suffering currently in the hands of politicians. JAI HIND.

Hi friends,

I support linking of water resources throughout the country. India's economy is based on agriculture and for which water is important part. Interlinking of water resources will provide water to farmers of country and it will enhance our agricultural production. It will also reduce scarcity of water in many parts of our country.

But I think center govt should not make a unique body for it, because it may lead to delay and corruption in managing such a big project. But if all nearby state will co-operate among themselves for linking of water bodies, making small small controlling bodies for nearby states depending upon distribution clauses then it may reduce corruption, delay, political disturbances etc between state and center.

Dear friends, I agree with all of you. Today scarcity of natural resources happened due to our negligence. Water resources also one of natural resources. If water resources are nationalized.

Then government can control water resources properly. Agriculture, industries need more water, but we want agricultural development so water resources must be allocated more to the agricultural purpose. In our country more people depends on agriculture but today due to scarcity of water they turned their life to urbanized, like this only it goes on then we face scarcity of food also.

So, it is the time to take care of water resources properly, it is nationalized or not every person responsible to take care of water resources.

Thanking you.

Water is a natural resource. But this time a lot people are wasting this natural resource due to some bad guys foolish work other persons are also facing problem of water. This resource is continuously decreasing in all over the world. But government is not taking any step over this they are looking after themselves. There must be strict rule over the use of water if this is not done early then world is going to face a great problem. Water must be considered as a nationalised resource so that people can give value to it.

There must be proper advertisement over it so that people in all over can understand the value of the water, what's the importance of water in our life.

Don't waste water otherwise you will be a sufferer.

Hello Everyone.

In my opinion, Water resources should be nationalised. As you all know, Water is essential for all living being in their daily survival. In the past few years, We have seen many interstate water disputes: Between Tamilnadu and Karnataka, Andra Pradesh and Odisha, etc. Due to this, Needy people and livestock are affected.
And there are many places in India where water is scarce; People suffer from drought. Some places have abundant water, Which reaches the drains as wastewater or reaches the sea untouched. In some places, People use unhygienic water, Which is unfit for the usage of household purposes. To overcome this problem water resources should be nationalised.

Hii everyone. Earth is surrounded by oceans 75% of the earth is surrounded by water and rest of land but in 75% only 1% of water is useable so I am in favour of nationalisation of water resources because in our country every state has different geographical challenges For example; Punjab, Haryana and Kerela are water-rich states on the other side Rajasthan, Delhi and Maharashtra are water deficient states. These problems can be solved by nationalisation of water resources because after nationalisation the whole control of water resources are in the hand of the central government after which they can distribute water resources equally in all states of India by different ways.

There is no point in nationalising water resources. The reason is in advanced cities and metros the presences of water mafias are growing with the help of politians and no one can deny it. And now that every week some or the other scams are being unearthed, it clealry shows the mis-management of politicians in the cabinet. So how can they manage after nationalising it? What is the proof that they don't misuse?

Building dams are also not the option as it will disturb the ecological imbalance. Rather if every state take up responisbilities to take care of their water resources by checking leaking pipes, pilferage and acting upon water mafias, we can definitely save water!

In my point of view, water resources must be nationalized. As water may be the major part of our living, and too its a natural resource given by god. Earlier days women used to fight for taking water from municipality pipe at that time we will be consciously listening and kid them. But today two states are fighting for water is any one is ready to involve and solve it certainly, no one. Even governments are ready to fight with other states for water. Still now we don't get any solution for that moreover farmers are affecting by this problem. So my simple request to central government is to give a proper solution to made that water resource as a nationalized one.

Hi friends this is Rajesh I believe that water resources should be nationalised, because there are many states and region where there is a scarcity of water. We all might have seen that there are many places where huge amount of water getting wasted everyday, so instead of wasting so much of water government should take certain steps where it is possible to supply those water to the place where there is scarcity of water, as a result both the places will have sufficient amount of water to meet their requirements, this will only be possible when government take strict decision regarding there policies and make people understood that wastage of water is a crime.

I don't think so, if water resources are nationalized then that may be another reason to instigate war. Water is free flowing, a nations inability to maintain healthy water will cause the dirt n other things to flow to other nations causing differences. Even if we talk about division of water on the basis of states, every state will have its own demand.

We are already having enough agitations on the division of states then division water would be disastrous, every other territory will demand more and more. The best thing I feel that can be done is to allocate a strong distribution channel to ensure that water reaches the unprivileged parts of our country.
