Water resources should be nationalised

Yes, I agree this above point of water resources should be nationalized, because we all are educated but today we are not taken any seriousness about environment. Water resources are the aesthetic of the environment so as to we should give water resources authority to government then we realise how to use water resources and how to protect them then we will get satisfaction. So water resources like river should be nationalized.

Yes, I support to this, definitely we should nationalize our water resources. Why because of if the water resources are on private sector they will misuse. For example, in nowadays the water is purifying and packing into water bottles and charging more money for people. This is most embarrassing moment that we have in our country.

Rivers should be nationalized and interlinked so that the less privileged states and facing drought will be beneficial to people of that state. Hence, those places will be more irrigated. Also, each household of the country who owns a land a certain portion should be set aside for the preservation of rain water. Educate the people the necessity of preservation of water and strict measures should be implemented against wastage of potable water. Recycling of waste water is another measure to preserve water.

Day by day our water requirements are increased more but mean while our resources are going down because of increase of population so we should control population to increase and nationalized water.

There is no point to discuss among ourselves we have to take some steps to initiate it. We are the people choosing our government and politicians and we have to educate our people those who are unaware of it. If you guys are really interested why can't we initiate and start a team and do the service during our leisure time to educate them and spread the awareness among our people from each city we need some representative join together we will achieve.

I don't think so, if water resources are nationalized then that may be another reason to instigate war. Water is free flowing, a nations inability to maintain healthy water will cause the dirt n other things to flow to other nations causing differences. Even if we talk about division of water on the basis of states, every state will have its own demand.

We are already having enough agitations on the division of states then division water would be disastrous, every other territory will demand more and more. The best thing I feel that can be done is to allocate a strong distribution channel to ensure that water reaches the unprivileged parts of our country.

The water resources will be nationalized is necessary to develop our county by creating a new resources I think by nationalizing the water resources it will be very help full to agriculture at that same nowadays even in Tamil Nadu also people from urban areas also villages lacking for water so nationalizing our water resources will be needed.

My suggestion is to nationalize the water resources. In south India it has no water scarcity but in other part it has more scarcity. Backbone of India is agriculture. It must be developed. It is necessary of water. We have to develop our nation with more technology to over come the happening of floods due water resources nationalization.

I support Water resource nationalization. Its very necessary action to develop the agriculture based nation. Its also help the country to transport both passengers and goods by waterway travel.

I read all of your comments pro and against the subject in issue. Am of the strong view, that, water resources should be invariably nationalized.

But, though this is a public issue, the selfish politicians make it a political issue, posing unnecessary and unwanted problems, as they are not interested in the welfare of the country, rather interested in posing problem for their political gains. Added to that, All the lakes and ponds both in villages and cities in our country have been stealthily occupied by unruly people, and they even obtained pastas from government, using their political influence, though, it is very well known to the concerned officials, that, occupying and obtaining pattas over tank bed lands are prohibited under board standing orders, and our courts in various pronouncements time and again ruled that, grant of patta in respect of tank bed lands are prohibited in law and is illegal. Moreover, in every state, there are major and minor irrigation department, to look after this subject, but, they are doing nothing in this regard, and they are drawing their salaries without any work or strain, and they are supported by politicians and land grabbers.

So, the government must endeavor to resume all these lands from the so called grabbers, their pattas be cancelled, and nationalize all the water resources (not projects alone) from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and appoint expert special officers for the judicious and fair distribution of water, to the needy areas, so that, whole of India will not suffer from water problem. If this is done. So, we will be giving real meaning to the song: "vande Mataram. Sasha Samalam Mataram".
