Tobacco must be banned. Yes or No.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

The topic is about whether tobacco is banned or not.

In my point of view, every problem has two sides, one is positive, and the other is negative.

The global level impact of this tobacco is that 100 million people can use tobacco, 45.7 million employees work in tobacco drug product manufacturing, and 20 million farmers depend on this.

And, 8 million people die globally every year, and 13.5 million second-hand smokers will die every year.

Every solution gives benefits for all,

Tobacco banning will give benefits to public health.

So, in my view, the solution to this is to slowly ban tobacco usage and give alternative jobs to tobacco harvesting farmers.

Firstly, I would like to give a simple explanation on tobacco must be banned;

Tobacco addicters loose their health and also their family suffer from tobacco using person.

And smokers who will spend their time with smokers, they also loose their health by inhale the smoke of tobacco.

On the other hand, who will yield the tobacco, they will get lose on the farming.

So, the Government must provide alternate crops of tobacco farming and employement.

I respectfully agree that Yes, the tobacco must be banned for the Country's growth.

While an outright ban on tobacco sounds ideal from a public health standpoint, historical precedents show that total prohibition rarely eliminates consumption.

Instead, aggressive bans often push adult demand into unregulated black markets, creating severe tax revenue loss and law enforcement challenges.

In heavily regulated markets like Australia, continuous excise hikes have already shown that rather than quitting abruptly, consumers simply adapt by seeking price transparency.

Adult consumers tend to shift away from excessive convenience store markups toward verified comparison platforms to find legitimate pricing, door-to-door delivery, and avoid unregulated street goods.

Rather than a complete ban, a balanced framework of strict age compliance, transparent digital retail channels, and public awareness campaigns provides a far more sustainable solution for society.
