Hello Everyone,
In My opinion, tobacco should not be banned in India. Not Because I am consuming it but it can create worse conditions in India.
First of all, I agree that it causes lung cancer, causes pollution and also 600millions of trees are cut over the year to make cigarettes,
But until and unless people are not educated they will consume tobacco anyway. We can take the example of Alcohol banned in Bihar, Recently their government banned alcohol but result of a network is created for the illegal smuggling of alcohol from neighborhood states and also the country.
Also, many people died due to the consumption of poisonous alcohol.
The second thing is that tobacco company contributes 11 lakh crore rupees in Indian GDP which is a huge amount.
So instead of banning tobacco in India, we can educate people with different campaigns and also bring alternatives of for tobacco-addicted people.
Thank you.

Good morning/afternoon everyone.
My Name is Niraj.
Yes, a ban in tobacco is necessary as it causes lung cancer, and other breathing and mental disorders, causes pollution, and millions of trees are cut to make cigarettes.
In my opinion immediate ban on tobacco will lead to certain other Problems as people will try to get tobacco in illegal ways like smuggling etc. And there is no guarantee that people will stop consuming it.
So instead we should use certain different approaches for example British government imposed a law banning tobacco for those under a certain age and increasing the age limit every year so that eventually younger generation will stop consuming it, educating people about it or reducing the production of tobacco etc.

In my opinion, banning tobacco is not the solution. It can only worsen the scenario.
Firstly, because people can start having more toxic substances as an alternative. Secondly, instant decisions like this will affect the economic growth of our country. Thirdly, words like "Restriction", "Ban" etc automatically trigger the aggression in human mind and as a result tobacco addicted people can go to any level to get the thing they want.
Therefore, one thing the government can do is to increase the price of tobacco products of all brands instead of raising the price of essentials like medicines and sanitary pads. Because the former is a choice but the latter isn't. This way people will decrease their intake of tobacco. Simultaneously there should be awareness campaigns from time to time.

Good evening everyone,
In my point of view, tobacco is bad for our health also there are many negative impacts. But suddenly we can't ban tobacco because the sudden ban of tobacco may highly impact the mental state of the consumer who consumes it. Due to it being an addiction, it had a high impact on the consumers. They may take illegal action to get tobacco.
Also, this industry highly contributes to our economy. We can do some that like increasing the price of tobacco periodically. Also, I agree with the harsh point that in India 29 percent of adults consume tobacco. Therefore for government has to action on restrictions on age limits like a minimum of 22 ages.

Hello everyone! Tobacco is banned yes or no.
I would like to say Tobacco is bad for our health and it must be banned. We all know it affects not only the individual which also gives suffer for their family. There are many of them addicted to tobacco and some of them try to quit but they can't quit because they get into deep addiction.
So the government must try to completely ban it. If they banned, it will helpful for the people as well for individuals.

Good Morning/Afternoon everyone.
This is Harika.
As we all know tobacco is the major cause of health problems like throat cancer, asthma, lung diseases, stroke etc. India is the 2nd largest producer and consumer of tobacco.
The immediate banning of tobacco leads to various problems like smuggling so we have to provide awareness programmes around educational institutions like schools and colleges. So, that it will not affect the younger generation.
We have to aware the tobacco consuming people about the side effects of tobacco through the National Tobacco Control Programme and reduce the production and supply of tobacco products.
Thank You.

Tobacco is highly addictive and like other addictive things it develops a consuming habit in people gradually and a habit can never be changed by banning something. But, on the other hand, tobacco is highly harmful to people. So to restrict tobacco consumption government must take action but that's not through banning, because it will force people to collect tobacco illegally. Also, tobacco contributes a lot to the Indian GDP. So the government shouldn't ban it directly rather, the government can arrange awareness campaigns, increase the price, and age limits, and in the end government can make the people realize how harmful it is for them and also can think about some healthy replacements.

Hello, everyone, I'm VISHAL.
As we all know, tobacco is injurious to our health. The consumption of tobacco leads to various diseases like asthma, and lung problems. Like other addictions, it is growing very fast. The youngsters are mainly targeted by it as they think that it is a work of greatness. As we all know tobacco also plays a big part in our GDP. So, if we ban it it may lead to financial issues for our country. To spread awareness among people, the government should start awareness programs mainly in schools and colleges. There should be an age restriction on tobacco. So, at last I want to conclude that the government should start a programme among people. And should open some campaign. Also open "nsha mukti" centers .

First of all, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
So in my point of view, tobacco should be banned. Because we all know that it's harmful to one's health and can damage their lungs and cause severe diseases like Cancer and so on. We should also think about the companies producing products like tobacco in the country, If we look near us we come to know that most of the products that are sold in the market in the name of the vanishing the addiction to tobacco of all of the products are being produced by the same companies who use to produce the tobacco.
Conclusion: So in my opinion, tobacco must be banned from our country, and we the common man of our country should come forward to stop the consumption of these poisons and create awareness among the people, especially the adults.
