With due respect to thoughts of other participants, I have seen many people doing MBA, just because they have heard that MBA degree holders get huge salary packages. But that's not always true. The salary of an individual, depends on his/her own skills. The person earning big money, has good quality knowledge & management skills. Not everyone can possess this. And, just to earn big money, many people pursue MBA, regardless of having good quality knowledge about it.

Whereas, there are other people, for whom, salary doesn't matter. They are just born to be MANAGERS. Its just their attitude & dedication towards their work, which automatically leads to an increment in their salary.

The rush for MBA is a big rush for money.

Strictly speaking here at this juncture, in this ever changing scenario, money rules the world. It doesn't mean that we only have a craze for money and go in the pursuit of MBA degree but of course we can make money but can't win our self satisfaction until and unless we do justice to our work. Mastery in Business administration is not merely a degree beside one's name but it also implies one only becomes a master if and only if he can manage the entire business withstanding all the hurdles coming across one's life.

On the whole, I can say that MBA has become a lure for everyone who has completed graduation and tempting them to go in that track.

In my opinion, the given topic may stand true in some instances but cannot be agreed totally.

Yes while taking an MBA degree, the candidate do thing think of the incentives attached with it but at the same time the MBA degree doesnot guarantee of getting huge salaries. After all, a person can only make big in business if he has the required leadership and managerial skills. Also how his strategies and plans prove effective in the current global market also holds significance. This tests how effective he can use his learnings from the B-school for his benefit. Moreover our country may have hundreds of B-school but how much value-addition they are doing too matters.

First of all I would say that its a really good topic "The Rush for MBA is really a Rush for Big Money" which exactly not correct completely but yes to some extent. Everyone think of getting better in their life of which demand in the market so they go MBA but its not the surety that its provide a good money until and unless you don't have quality and skills. Off course MBA helps to develop our skills so that it can be useful in earning much more, but its wrong that only degree will boost up your earning.

Even anyone can look around and found many holding degree of MBA is also jobless so its not fact that The Rush for MBA is really a Rush for Big Money.

No I don't think that MBA is all about making more money, the reason being that in today's scenario doing an MBA has become the need of the hour to have a growth in one's career, a plain graduate might rise up to a certain level in an organization, but to go ahead, he needs to have an MBA degree. Even a smuggler earns huge amount of money, even the person sitting in the government office has money, but there's no growth.

My conclusion would be that today there are endless ways to earn money but only few ways to have a growth in life, status and position. MBA degree can give you that growth, status and position you want in life in a dignified manner.

Rush of MBA is rush of big money, not all ways but we can no neglect this statement also.

Actually present days everyone want to go to top directly, for this you require skill and knowledge. So today is become method that do MBA and they think they have MANAGER degree. But really see in your self how much knowledge you can implement for your real world. That is skill.

I am sorry but one statement said by peter Drucker that "No grater damage could be done to our economy or our society than to attempt top professionalize management by licensing manager for instances or by limiting access to management to people with special academic degree".

This is really a very good topic. In my point of view MBA is becoming as a market trend since last 15 or 20 years in India. It is nothing but a strategy for creating a market in India as we all know our country is third world country and the 1st world country always trying to find market in India for it's tremendous population density. So the strategy for capturing this market

1. Better job opportunity
2. Better salary package
3. Very good futrure prospect in capitalized market trend etc.

So the Big Money is like a bumper offer or sale in our festive time. So they make it in a very strategic manner and it is successful.

I think doing MBA for a person not only rush for big money it may be for their passion, for gaining skill and knowledge and increase educational status. MBA provide us platform for satisfaction, achievement and success. I helps in developing managerial skill, leadership skill, communication skill, entrepreneurial skill and confidence. To be a competitive in todays world MBA is very crucial. It gives knowledge about time and money management. There are lots of person who have not MBA but they are considered as successful person.

So, doing MBA is not a rush for money, there are other factors which person can gain by doing MBA.

Good evening friends, I know MBA is a well-reputed degree course. MBA course is very beneficial for college students it's a good course it helps in building good communication skills and for self - development. It includes many important subjects like management, accountancy, human resource management, principles of marketing, rural development, entrepreneurship development, information technology & its implications in business, project management, IMC, etc. MBA is a platform of not improving your knowledge but also developing your skills. It enhances the confidence of students when you read all business topics.

No, I probably don't agree with this concept that "Rush for MBA is really a Rush for Big Money, because the world is updated with various professions which would fetch a huge amount of money as salary or remuneration. Of course MBA provides the skilled MBIANs with higher financial growth but mostly people doesn't pursue for that reason.

If anyone does an MBA for financial growth then he surely would result in job dissatisfaction. It depends on the individual skills, talent, knowledge, presentation etc for pursuing an MBA. If we have such skills we would definitely have big money rushing after a perfect MBIAN.
