Rush for MBA is definitely rush for money because if people are investing lakhs of money in order to gain that degree, obviously to get more returns than they have invested. More over a mba person has its own status he stands apart. In terms of knowledge and academics. MBA teaches and sharpen your management skills, which is the main asset of any MNC, Small firm or family owned business. A person can get a good pay package and a businessman can make profits by utilising his MBA Skills. Ultimately the goal is to make money along with your individual development.

I do not agree with the generalized norm that doing MBA is rush for money. MBA enhances skills of decision making, choosing the right things, better prioritizing, people management which is required at each and every mode of life. Even if the person is in core technical career realizes that management skills are unavoidable.
Even now a days most of the people who aspires for MBA, want to be authoritative, important, decision making positions, which will bring difference.
Rush for an MBA is more because of the need for the management skill rather than money.

The Rush for MBA is really a Rush for Big Money. Is really true. But every MBA degree holder doesn't gets a guarantee to have hike in their salaries. And every MBA degree holder doesn't proves to be the best manager with a degree. Management skills are ones ability to manage. These skills doesn't comes with a degree. But one can improve these through a degree. Only. For 10% of the MBA'S this quotation proves true. As one with only a MBA degree is not hired. They are judged with their management skills only. And only for them this quotation proves true:).

In my point of view MBA is the way where every one want to success his dream, if a person invest lots of money for this kind of course then want back their money as soon as possible, but its depend on his skill, knowledge and others things, if a person not able to grow up then its meaning less. Every one wants money but should have quality. MBA is passport for money not a tree, if you want to make a money then you have to use your own mind, mind it every ceo of a company don, t have MBA degree, so take your degree of MBA and use your mind for get money.

Yes, today everyone who gets admission in MBA course wants a successful career. Students choose MBA because they think that it can provide them a good job. Hello every one,
I am an engineer, and for me the reason of doing the MBA is to remove the hurdles which is going to freeze my growth of carrier at a particular stage. In the global market the only aim of the companies is to make profitable business and that cannot be achieved by a simple graduate or by an engineer, for that company starts searching for the person who are well enough to manage the people and yes this defines the word management. So if you want to be on the top you will have to be smart in managing and for that you need a MBA.

Hi there! I am against of this rush for MBA is not just for money, because in this two years of managerial studies the persuing graduates will be developing their managerial skill how to handle the business or the accounting or the finance part everybody will be developing their skill in their respective background. If someone is interested to start his business or run his patriarchy business, in this case, he/she is doing just get to know the tactics.
I agree that yes it does MBA gives money but to the deserved ones but that's a side part.

Good evening everyone,
According to my point of view I feel that the statement is not correct because most of the people purse MBA to set up their own business and few of them to become managers and not all MBA's get good package it depends on the type of college they are graduating for ex if you take IIM's in to consideration the initial offer they get is very much lump some and if you take normal b schools MBA they get very less compared to schools people are not getting into MBA for money but to gain some skills in business field.

when a student join a B-school what is in his mind?
He dreams of getting job after he completes his degree(definitely there are exception), he either tries to be a part of any organisation or he becomes entrepreneur.the basic thing behind both of these is to earn money.
there are other courses as well which help in earning money but it is MBA which helps in earning money faster, there fore there is large number of aspirants of MBA and this is the reason for the large number of B schools opening these days.
