I tend to disagree on the point that the technology is creating income disparity, can we remember those days when black and white television used to entertain only two or three family of whole town, but now usually have at least one colored television set in each house.

The days when we were waiting to cut down the STD call rates in late night or early morning and used to have conversation with family and relatives, but now even rickshaw puller can afford cell phone to stay connected with family and friends.

There are lot of examples by which we can explain that how the technology reduces the inequality between the peoples having high income and low income.

Aside this if we talk about the earning with the use of technology then I can certainly say that you can earn more money, and have good salary and perks.

While technology is enabling to earn more money and creating job opportunity for technical person at the same time it is availing the facilities to common people by which everyone can enjoy the technology, and providing feel good factor even not having good income.

As far as my point of view technology does creates income disparity as modern India because of our education standard is not comprehensive and large population of nation are deprived and unable to understand how to use and get knowledge about technology.

Company or organizations give jobs those who are English proficient and technologically sound, that's why those who have these prerequisite got jobs and earn more, and those like rural ones are underprivileged because they are unskilled.

So there is need of reform in education and participation of government to provide technological education to the entire nation especially ruler areas because technology is a source which is not only developed or increased individual income but also decide the growth of nation and no one country look as developed country until there is equality. So participation of everyone is required that change the way we think about negative side of technology.

Thanks.

Hello everyone, To my opinion technology creates disparities in income but it cannot be blamed single handed. Our education system is also responsible for that. Technology will not stop at any point. Science will keep upgrading technology but proper education should be there to train the manpower to be adapt to the new technologies and upgrade themselves. As technology develops there is less need for manpower. Computers and robots are replacing human man power but that doesn't mean there is fewer employment opportunities for humans. The way of employment has changed. It is less labour oriented and more skill oriented now. Take an instance. In banks, there is passbook printing machines and ATM's to dispose of cash but only a person can do the marketing oriented job there. For customer service, there needs an human employee only. So it is more skill based job. And where people are less skilled they lack behind unemployed. So it creates income disparity. The courses and syllabus of education should be changed in a way that develops creativity not create hard working labourers.

I disagree with the statement that technology has created income disparities. Technology has made things easier. The "world has become a small village" means there are no distances between people. Every income and occupation group can afford the technology to stay connected with people. Technology is everywhere from agriculture to banking everything has been controlled through technology. Farmers are also educated to use technology for farming and another purpose. The technology generates income with less investment and gives higher returns. For ex:- the E-commerce sites are earning more than brick and mortar, so people are shifting to e-commerce business for generating income. "Technology is a special gift for humans to make their work easy and efficient".

I think technology is like a mirror. It reflects you the way you have programmed it to do. If you operate the technology in a good and efficient manner then it is a boon or else it's going to cost you a lot and make one's life worse than a hell.

The term, " Technology " is a Science, a discipline that refers to an innovation or a discovery which makes your work and life easier in terms of every aspect. Yes, it is true that technology creates income disparities. As the technology becomes more and more advanced there is a less need of manpower. As the manpower resource loses its importance it leads to unemployment.

Even though self-employment may be managed, it does not have its positive impact on the income of any person. In other words a work done by a man may take an hour for which he or she may be paid. If the same work is completed by a computer or any advanced equipment then it does the work of a man in a minute or two. Moreover it meets the demand or produces extra products which not only decreases the utility of manpower but also doubts the performance of a human ability and capacity. Of course in a long run it is a human who wins the race.

However in our day to day lives it is the technology which is slowly taking place the human labour. Concluding, I would like to tell that every thing has its own limit. So also we need to develop technology which when judged should not disrupt the human life in any way, whatsoever it may be. Technology is good for research on things such as discovery of any new planets or stars in the sky and not for the corporate world or in the day to day life of a common man.

My opinion would be to use traditional methods which not only teaches man to be a hard worker but also keeps him active ignoring the laziness aroused due to an advanced technology. I would like to spread a message to the world, " Be the ruler or master of technology. Don't allow technology to be the master of your minds. ".

Many of us are loosing the track and drifting from the topic. We are not talking about the pros and cons of technology.

According to me, technology does create disparities in income. Simple explanation to it. A person who knows how to handle and benefit from the developed equipments, machines, etc is considered as a skilled resource. he also gets paid more as compared to a person who doesnt know what technology means and doesnt know his way about it.

Maybe the theoretical knowledge both of them have is almost the same..but technology is the deciding factor when it comes to fixing their incomes.

Technology as we know has become a part of our life. We cannot just live on without it. But it is like a coin with same sides but both having a different result.

One side is that, it does create income disparities among the working class. It only creates opportunities for those who are familiar with it. But this itself can sometimes be a danger, that is not all the firms stay at the top of business list for long. Some or the other day they will come down, which will force the employer to minimize the wages or remove some of the workers.

Second, if there wasn't any technology then more number of people would have been at job which is a good point. But the production would not be up to the mark, which might cause workers getting less wages.

So its clear that technology do creates income disparity which might make us think that we don't need any technology, but absence of it is also gives the same result.

Its like a Quadratic equation with two roots but the same answer.

Thank you.

Hello friends,

As my idea, Technology is the main reason to reduce and disappear of natural things,

If air pollution is happening, reason technology. If sound pollution is happening reason tech. If trees are cutting reason technology.

Day to day technology is growing, means natural things are reducing.

Thank you.

I will not agree, that technology create income disparities because, for example all the people's will say that 100man power =1 machine it's true, but for introducing 1 machine how many people will struggle and how many people will work. Just think once.

So I will not agree that technology create income disparities.
