Hi everyone.

Friends I think call violence and crime basic theme will be wrong, because today movie doesn't get hit by crime or violence scene, but by the story line and lot of other factors. We can take example of LAGAAN, TAARE ZAMIN PAR AND RECENTLY THE KINGS SPEECH WHICH WON OSCAR. But their are lots of movies where violence and crime scene are required, as we cannot reflect society problems by not showing violence. As it is the requirement of these movies.

So rather than banning these scene from movies, we can give moral in evry movie so that children can learn from it, not just imitate.

Who watch movie just for entertainment;my sincere request is to watch movies related to slap-stick or any other romantic movies. The movies are censored before they are released & the censor board gives an 'A' rating to a movie which has crime & violence as their main theme. It is the responsibility of parents & theatre people not to allow children watch these movies. Movies are made not only for the sake of entertainment but also for showing the world the different angles of the world. Do you think that there is no violence in the world. Violent movies are not made to inspire people to harm others;it in fact gives us a message to stand up against evil in the world.

SEE THE POSITIVE ANGLE :).

Depending upon the script need may arise to show a violence scene or a criminal scene in the movie. A movie has the ability to influence the views and opinions of its audience. These violence and criminal scenes should be projected in such a way that they give a clear message to its audience about the life long ill consequences of violence and crime. People who get immediately influenced by the movies will be discouraged from imitating such violent scenes. Also while watching the movie the viewer must use his/ her conscience to judge (rather than blindly imitating the scenes) whether the story of the movie or a scene in the movie or the message given by the movie is humane or inhumane, whether it is inclined towards promoting divisions in the society based on region, religion or any such social issue or whether it is inclined towards uniting the society irrespective of any of the social barriers .This is true not only in case of social issues but also in case of movies depicting family relations like parent- children relationship; bro- sis, grandparents and so on..supposing if there is a scene showing ill treatment given to the elderly parents by their children, it is upto the viewer to decide whether he/she should imitate it or no. Is it in accordance with the viewer's principles and moral values to follow such scenes? No wise person with good conscience will get carried away with the scenes shown in the movies. One watches a movie for entertainment purpose. One should act like a sponge when one comes across good messages to absorb them and be resistant towards evil messages and violence. As far as children are concerned there are lot of movies specially meant for them. Many interesting Educational programmes are broadcasted on T.V. which grab child's interest and attention and enable the child to enjoy learning. It is their parents duty to keep them from watching violent and criminal movies.

I think crime Showing violence should be in limit. But they are showing cruel violence like killing people by using knifes, guns, hands. These things should not be used in films. By viewing these things children, even younger once are trying.

Well. This is a good topic to speak about! showing violence and crimes in television is actually not harmful. It may take some people in wrong way but at the same time it helps us to end our innocence and take precautionary measures against the crimes. Everything has both positive and negative. Its how one accepts it.

Hello friends in my perception violence and crimes should not be banned from movies because movies are just for entertainment purpose in which fights and violence is necessary according to the script. implementing those things in real life is i think that a foolish thing because every youth who watches movie have knowledge of what is wrong and what is right.and in case of childrens parents should not allow them for watching actions movie.I also think that there should be limitations of violence scenes in the movies because as in many films they showing the techniques of robbery and loot which helps dacoits in many ways to perform their loot and they get idea of robbery in some smart manner. So it should be in limited manner...

I think violence is just harmful for kids not for mature. There are many who watch movie just for fight. Those who don't like it can simply avoid it.

We should not blame movie if we do something wrong. We must have the ability to control our self.

I think that showing violence and non-violence on television and in films is not a crime.

Because if a scene about a crime is shown in a movie then it is just shown for the enjoyment of the viewer but it is not a really crime scene. It also never inspires anyone.

Even if anyone is inspired he/she will be inspired only by the understandable or any moment where someone helps any person. If any person is inspired by the crime scenes then he must be a psycho or he must be a person who wants to get rid of his enemy or people who wants to kill people who do bad things to the society. Remember always movies never inspire to do crimes.

In my view every thing should be in limit if anything exceeds the limit then it should be banned by the censor people. The government should take certain actions to make people under 18 not eligible to watch the 'A' certificate movies, no theater is following that rule. So, I say that the every thing has to be done by the government they should see that everyone are following the rules perfectly or not.
