Hello,
The last change that took place in the Indian education system was in 2020 and before that in 1986. But it takes many years to implement the new education system thoroughly. I Agree with one comment that nowadays, more parents are not trying to understand their children. Whenever their child is lacking in anything the only solution they have is to join a Coaching.
They never let him/her solve it by himself/herself. They should know that every child is special in himself. Rather than focusing on marks, they should force him to solve any problem that comes to him by himself. They should not let their child be dependent on coaching institutions which itself make money except some institutions. Nd I strongly recommended that after the 10th standard, it should make compulsory for a student to do at least one internship of his/her choice. By this, he/she will practice in life. And their concepts towards life will be logical.

Hi,
Yes, I think that in our education system, there should be no reservations on the basis of categories. Every student should get equal opportunities in the future. Because maybe a student with more knowledge than the sc/st student (who get a job) didn't get a job or is jobless. Due to this reason, a talented student may choose an alternative path for his career.
And our country will grow slow due to a lack of talent.
Thank you.

I think it should be definitely changed. There are lots of reasons behind it In almost colleges, there is the same boring old syllabus which carries many years. Our.
The education system doesn't do any changes to the syllabus that's the reason students do not get modern knowledge apart from the syllabus. We focus on the exams not on what students should learn. All the college systems focused on attendance there is no importance of students learning whether the students are understanding or not. I think our education system should focus on practical and modern learning and also on the student's skills by organising such programs in schools and colleges which make Students more practical and aware of their dreams.

@All.
In my opinion, some of the changes should be followed in the present education system is;
Free education for all the people in India without fail.
Salaries for private school teachers are provided by the government.
No ranking system.
No grading for students like vegetables and fruits.
The overall development is required for every student not only IIT.

Yes, I even think education in today's time has become worsen children are just forced to learn for exams because they have told to get good marks though they don't understand either they like the subject or even when they don't even know the concept of that subject they are just told to mug up in fact our education system should be interesting practical with all realistic performance rather than just mugging up.

Yes, we totally should. In India, the education system mainly focuses on the memory or learning power of the student, which tbh is not fair because everyone is not the same, everyone has their own capability and skills, so instead of just focusing on the learning power the system should focus more on the overall development of the student and help them find their true skills and support them so that they don't judge themselves on the basis of marks and can do what they actually love and enjoy.

No, this education system was developed purposely by Britishers to spoil Indians and to make them slaves to their system and only for their benefits mystic services did they make this. Read history guys you will get to know. It is around 200 years old now.
They destroyed the Indian Gurukul education system was the backbone of India and they introduced this British Education system by Lord Macaulay, you can even google if you don't believe me.
"I have travelled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such calibre, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage and therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self-esteem, their native culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation".

So Why do we need to change our system literally from the starting what does our education has taught us that could be really helpful in our life all time we always run for marks not having the knowledge of the subject what is actually for how to apply into your life. The whole country's schools, Colleges and Universities are playing with the future of the country they follow the same pattern from nursery to graduation just learn and write they teach you things too many years that doesn't even matter in your career I don't know why people don't raise their voice against it. Let's talk about myself I am recently graduated in BCA a three-year bachelors degree named as bachelor's of computer Application in which we have six semesters in every semester they taught us math, one programming language and some commerce subject like accounting, business economics etc but in my whole graduation they didn't teach me how to get a job they just taught us some basic theoretical stuff at the end of my graduation when the company came up for interview they need 4-5 skills with good practical knowledge and very good communication skill how I have told them that they teach us in the name programming is how to write a program to print Hello world or check the Armstrong number I don't know what I have to do my degree I have too many things to write but it will make my statement too long so people won't read it. In the end, I have to say just one thing don't run for a degree just go for skills whatever you want to be the whole education is business and they all are scammers don't get trapped.

Hello friends.
My name is Siddharth Bhardwaj.
Friends, as we all know our today's topic is should we change the present system of education in our country.
In my opinion, yes we should change it because the current education system is 30years old and it is not so effective in the current education system children are learning just to memorize and not to understand things. In the current education system, the students are focusing only on how to get good marks in examination they and their parents are not focusing on the implementation of education in real life. Government of India must change the education policy and take a new education policy in which the focus is on understanding not on memorizing and get good marks and policy in which we give importance to education rather than marks.
