According to my perspective.
National anthem should be played in cinema halls. Those leaders who have fought their entire life for our nation for independence. Nowadays as we all know our youth is 60percent out of 100 percent now a days youth often visit to cinema halls ithink it a good step to show patriotism. It bring us unity integrity brotherhood among the people. So, many people are saying it is not right place those people I want to say I think they do not belong to India. It hardly take 52 seconds. National anthem should be played India forever.
Jai Hind.
Jai Bharat Mata.

Yes, it is necessary that in cinema starting there will be a national anthem because everyone is busy in their busy schedules like office works and students are busy in Facebook and WhatsApp and for their relaxation every one has to watch the movie in that situation they should thought about India incase if it is not played it should be forgotten by everyone and in future we said to our children that a national song was in olden days dinosaur and sparrows.
Respect the national anthem.
And respect India.
Jai hind.

We Indians shows our respect for the country by singing "National Anthem". But I don't think so cinema halls are the right place to be played. The only reason to watch movies in cinema halls is entertainment. Then what will be the motive behind playing "National Anthem" before "B grade" movies like "Dirty picture"? If you really want to show you respect for the nation than do social work, respect women, elders. Motivate people to join in Social events. Follow your social responsibility. There are so many people out there who don't even stand for the national anthem, but still, follow their responsibility for the nation. So, it should not be compulsory to stand in Cinema halls to show your respect.

Hi, everyone.
I don't think that playing national anthem in cinema halls is a good idea. People come in cinema halls to relax. Playing national anthem would be irritating to some of the people.
Take the example of next day after 26 January and 15 August, people throw away the flag on streets and the dustbin. So, is this the way you are showing your patriotism towards the nation? Just standing for national anthem does not make any sense. Most of the people don't even know the verse in the national anthem. They stand up for the national anthem just because others have stood up and they don't want to be the spoil spot. Also, not everyone would be in attention position and also this would show disrespect towards the nation as well as the national anthem.
I don't think that playing national anthem in cinema halls makes a person patriotic. Patriotism cannot be forced on an individual. Also, the definition of patriotism varies from person to person. If a person is very patriotic, he can show his deeds by doing various ways such as joining a social organization help the needy person, to teach the poor and needy children, and many others. So, according to me, national anthem should not be played in cinema halls.

Hi, I am Aryan Singh.
As I know that National Anthem should not play in cinema Halls, it's the place of amusement, Look Differ category of movies release like B grade movie, should us watch the movie B grade after research of the national anthem. Patriot is shown by feelings, love, and should us do something for society, give it to India pride things. Due it people remind us not by standing in cinema halls at the play of national anthem.
But, National Anthem is being played at many theatres. SC has now made it mandatory for all the theatres. The move has not gone down well for some people but the majority have no objections. No move can appease all, there will always be some who oppose. SC must have considered squarely before pronouncing such compulsion. Those who are against it can voice and cite reasons for its better implementation.
India has many colors but when all stand up for the national anthem, it reminds sense of unity. The theatre is a few place where we as a family stand up for our National Anthem.

Many of you have said that it should not be enforced on the people and it should not be played in the hall. I like to share my points only for these people that you should be thanked to god that you are living in India. Our government is trying to inculcate patriotism among people so whats wrong in that? Our country is filled with different communities, caste, religion it is important to unite them. There is a need of patriotism so we can overcome from the problem like brain drain and many more. I m in army sometimes we do our duty in off time also. We also feel that it is our rest time but no we have to do it for any cause because it's my duty to serve the nation wherever it needs me. So it is a duty of a citizen also to respect the anthem, not because you are in any service because you are living in India.
Big changes come from small steps.
It is our luck that India is a democratic nation. Not a communism like China and other countries. So this is not supposed to be discussing a topic, not at all.

Yes, A great step is taken by Supreme court to Play National anthem before starting any movie. We should not have any problem to stand for 2 Min. If we can stand at the stadium before starting Cricket Match or during pray in school or At Assembly then we can stand here also. Soldiers who Fight at the boarder for us or for our country why can we not Stand only? It always remembers us the Patriotism of Our Martyr.
Some people do politics on it. It is very shameful that they don't leave even our national Anthem or National Song. I think we should make a unite & support such a great decision.
Thank You!

Patriotism comes out of love and respect for one's nation and cannot be force-fed to anyone just by making them stand up while the national anthem plays and the national flag is in view. Cinemas aren't the right place to show patriotism. Cinemas are a place for entertainment and playing national anthem before some adult (18+) movies totally disrespects it.
National anthems are to be played at formal occasions. Patriotism can also be displayed by loving one's country with open eyes and not only by playing the national anthem at cinemas.
I do respect my national anthem and I'm proud to be an Indian.

No, it should not be played in cinema halls. It is not necessary always to play national anthem everywhere, National Anthem holds immense importance for every country and so for India as well. Our gov. Cannot force people to show patriotism anytime and anywhere. We all have respect and love for our country and we do not have to prove it every time. It's totally useless and baseless, we all have sung National Anthem every day in the morning in our schools and also on our National festivals then what is the need to play it in cinema halls?

According to me, National Anthem should be played in cinema halls. Tell me one thing, what\'s the problem in playing it before a movie? If you are not playing it no issues. But if you play it then what's the problem? I think there is no problem. Instead while standing for national anthem with other 100 to 200 Indians will make you feel proud of your nation. There will be people from the different area of your city whom you don't even know. But while standing with them for national anthem a brotherhood feeling will come for them. And it is just about 52 sec. One more thing, other than twice in a year (26th Jan and 15th Aug) when do we play national anthem. So it is better to play it in the cinema hall.
Thanks and Regards
