I am totally against playing national anthem in cinema halls. Cinema halls are not the place where we have to show our feelings nd respect towards our country. Respect should come from heart and as well respect and love come in a place where we feel the spark of patriotism. Playing national anthem in cinema halls carry no sense. Cinema halls are the place where people come to spend time and have some fun with there friends and family but not to show the feeling of harmony and integrity.

Yes, I am in the favour of playing National Anthem in the cinema hall.

Now many of us here arguing that a cinemall hall is a place for entertainment n all.

I agree but what is the problem if we stand barely 52seconds for the national anthem?instead standing with other Indians for national anthem will make us feel proud of our nation. If we can watch the movie for 3 hrs there so we can also stand for the national anthem for a minute. Freedom fighters gave their life for our country can't we give one minute to our national anthem.

Jai Hind!

Hello.

According to me, the national anthem must be played in cinema halls.

Some people talking about by doing this we can't become patriotic. I just want to say patriotism is all about your heart. If you love your country, can't you give your only 1 minute to show your love for your nation & it's anthem?!

Here, people are ready to stand in the line of Jio card distribution.

People are ready to stand in line in Temple.

People are ready to stand in line ATM & bank.

People are ready to stand in the line of ticket collecting. !

But. Only 1 minute for respect of their nation, they like it's not required, it's not be played before entertainment, it's not played cinema where adult & abusive movies streaming!

It's about love toward your nation.

A day will come, this question totally disappears.

Thank you.

I really don't understand why it is must to olay national anthem in cinema halls.

1. Respect comes from your heart not by standing on a national anthem.

2. Playing national anthem before an adult movie is not a good idea.

3. One thing I noticed in cinema halls that when national anthem ends and people takes their seats, they immediately start gossiping about the topic they were discussing before national anthem.

They just ignore it, and it feels like insulted.

4. It should be mandatory in schools and colleges.

In my opinion, YES, national anthem should be played in cinema hall because most of the people get patriotic feelings only on republic day and independence day. Patriotism should be within our heart but it should be experienced practically. If we can watch a 3hr film can not we stand for 50 seconds? We should because if a soldier can stand for 24 hrs to protect our country we can stand for 52 seconds in cinema hall because it ignites patriotism feeling inside us nd shows prosperity and equality among the people of country.

In my opinion, the national anthem should be played in the cinema halls. National anthem is just a way to show our love towards our country to remember our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for their motherland and for us. When our fighters can sacrifice their lives for their nation so for us it's not a big deal to give a single 2mins for our nation.

In respect of our nation and our leaders We should stand for the national anthem.

Thank you.

Hi;

I think that national anthem must be played before the movie in the cinema halls. As per my point of view, we are spending a lot of time in lots of activities but we never feel the need to give our 52 seconds of a day to give respect to our nation. As far as if we will say that it is a place of entertainment and nobody wants to sing national anthem there forcefully then it means that they had sung the national anthem in the schools also forcefully.

The second thing is that if we are not feeling any problem in standing for long for getting popcorns then we must not feel any problem in standing for 52 seconds for singing our national song. As you will say that the senior citizens will face difficulty in standing then it is meaningless as even the physically unable people who do not have legs to stand sings the national anthem, then why not they?

So, according to me, if we are giving excuses for avoiding to stand just some seconds to show the respect towards our country, then we do not have the right to be known as the citizen of India.

I don't think playing national anthem in a cinema hall is a good decision. This is because patriotism is shown by heart not but standing forcibly. Now, let us suppose now one is lying on the bed in a relaxed state and you start playing national anthem near his ear, do you expect him to stand? I don't think he should stand because he was a bit unconscious because of a bit of nap. So, I don't think patriotism is shown by just playing the national anthem.

Hello guys,

In my opinion, National Anthem should not be played in cinema halls because we cannot force someone to stand and give respect. Although we know that National Anthem is the pride of our country, so cinema halls are not the place to show our pride where people doesn't give respect by their choice. Instead of this, National Anthem should be played in Award function, popular reality shows where people will genuinely stand, give honour and admire for the same.

Thankyou :).

Hi there,

In my view, national anthem should not be mandatory in cinema halls because nationalism is a thing which comes from within a person. We cannot force it on anyone. Moreover, cinema halls have a different kind of movies and playing the national anthem before any inappropriate movie is like insulting are a nation and it's dignity. Also, people come in theatres for their entertainment and not to prove their patriotism. So, rather than forcing this thing on anyone, we should make this thing a choice of every individual.

Thank you!
