Hey guys, this is Sakshi and I would like to tell you my opinion about national anthem should be played in the cinema or not so it should not I know that you are thinking why what's wrong in it when it's showing how proud Indians are in national anthem but national anthem is national anthem it is not any party song which peoples enjoy and we can't force anyone to stand and if anyone is stubborn and not standing so it will be a reason for fight in Hall but that people came here to enjoy there day. So it should not be played in the cinema hall.

I'm also proud of the national anthem.

Thank you so much.

Yes, I think national anthem should be played at cinema halls. Students can do it in their institutions, schools, etc. But a common man rarely hears or had a time/chance to have a value of national anthem in their life. Cinema halls are a good place for such common citizens. It gives a sense of patriotism and memorise us of our freedom fighters because of whom we are enjoying such a wonderful moments. Some people say " we love our nation and we don't need such kind of formalities to show our patriotism". I want to suggest them that respecting anything and realising it are two different things. We all know and believe in god but we too go to temples to realise it or to have a better sensation of devotion. Same thing applies here also. Thanks.

Good evening dear friends.

First of all, let me tell you what the National Anthem means?

It is the salutations to our motherland. I think it should be played only in those places which maintain the decorum of the National Anthem. But at the same time if we see in the cinema halls people go there for entertainment purposes only and they eat, drink, take corner seats so as to have a romance with Thier loved ones and I think by doing this the decorum which the National Anthem needed is not maintained in cinema halls. So that is why I think it should not be played in cinema halls.

According to me, the national anthem should be played in cinema halls and it is our duty to respect it.

If a person can stand in queue for tickets, he can stand for snacks in interval time then whats the problem in standing for national anthem.

If a person has legs and if they are in stable condition then you must stand.

It is the respect for martyrs.

It is the respect for the soldiers who are standing at the border for the nations safety.

If a person spend his 3 hrs in watching movie then he can also stand for 52 sec.

Hello everyone, Good evening.

In my point of view, national anthem should not play in cinema hall because national anthem is national anthem. It's not a entertaining song, people come to cinema hall for enjoyment or entertainment. After the job or duty. If you should play. Then you can play in our work place or before starting the job. Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

According to me National Anthem should be played in Cinema halls as we know nowdays people are so busy in there life that they have no time to think for martyers and our soldiers most of we even can't sing the whole national anthem. And if we can stand in a que for tickets and popcorns than its our duty to stand for our national anthem. If just by standing 52 sec give you a patriotic feeling and enery you must stand. I have read some people arguing that you cannot force national anthem than what these people will say about school in every school daily national anthem is sung so in there view it is forcefully done?

I am afraid but I completely disagree with the idea of playing the national anthem before the screening of the movie. Actually, we have certain rules and principles to play national anthem with certain situations. The sense of patriotism comes naturally to a responsible citizen but it does not happen by force. Moreover, it played to create the sense of unity and integrity among people. It is played when we need to feel that we are united among many Diversities, such as playing national cricket team against opponents or participating our soldier any different global Initiative for peace and prosperity. While we play national anthem we should pay the respect. I don't think it is not appropriate to play anthem while we are watching a movie, which is really a commercial purpose of certain groups. What is the value of playing national anthem while the film is filled with romance, vulgarity and murder. Does not it disrespect our national anthem?

Good afternoon everyone.

According to my view. Its a good intiation by govt that national anthem is compulasary within the movie theater because now a days evary individual is busy in their own life running towards their works even they are not getting time to talk with their families. Then in the tug life of human it is very hard to remember national anthem for them.

Cinema is place where people in this tug life atpeast plan once to watch a movie with their families, loved ones and people gather together and go to film. There is no other place than this where diff kinds of people gather together. Ao this place is correct for playing national anthem.

There are many good people and good films where those also respect country. Not all films and people are not bad. Atleast by this people remember national anthem.

If a humans heart and mind is clean then there is no need to discuss about place and people to Respect the National Anthem.

I appreciate the views of my all dear friends.

No doubt Patriotism is in every citizen of India nd in one way or the other everyone tries to ful fill its duty towards the nation like some help the poor, soldiers by protecting us from miscreants (terrorists).

Now, the apex court of the country made it mandatory that national anthem must be played in cinema halls. I appreciate this decision because national anthem is a way of expressing our respect towards the martyrs, freedom fighters, unity in diversity nature of India. Merely standing for 52 seconds nd to feel proud of your country is not a big deal. It reminds us of our duty towards our nation nd cherish the saga, valour, sacrifice the country has made to reach the position in which the country is today.

The need of the hour is that not only in the cinema halls but we should also encourage such kind of practices in different govt sector, private sector organisations nd take this initiative to the broader level.

It is just like you being a theist and you know god exists everywhere but still, you recite the name of god daily nd also pray in front of idols in temples, masjids, church or at home because you know if I pray in front of idols it would be more devotional. Same is the case with the national anthem. The more you sing it more you feel "patriotic".

People saying no nd citing the reasons that they go there for entertainment nd some saying not to be played before vulgar movies. I just want to ask is national anthem fetching your entertainment? After 52 seconds won't you be able to enjoy to film as you wanted?nd it is not vulgarity. It is just your way of thinking. If your thinking says the movie is vulgar then why are you in the cinema hall. Just don't come to watch. Some movies highlight the brothels in their movies because its what the movie demands. That doesn't mean due to this our national anthem nd our feeling is degraded because other things are also a part of our life nd we need to address them also.

So concludingly I would like to say we all must strive to take this initiative to a broader level nd take our nation to a position where everyone wants to work for country first rather for oneself.

JAI HIND.

Hello Everyone,

I respect everyone's opinion but I don't think we should play National anthem in cinema hall instead we must play it in every organization whether it's educational or business, private or government.

I think we should play national anthem under the open sky not under the roof.

These days cinema are not a great cinema, there are too much romance and vulgar things. I don't think it's a respectful step towards our national anthem. But sometimes like the movie such as, Uri, parmanu, mangalyan can include National anthem.
