Hi friends.

I believe that good things should not be critisized. It should be encouraged and respected. Mere thinking that people don't respect national anthem in theaters and therefore it should not be played there is not right. SC has taken an initiative and today it's been playing in theaters, maybe after some time maybe it will be played at railway station, bus stands etc. We go there to enjoy so it should not be played. Really? The soldier at border is also a human being, he may be in a funny mood at least once in a day, but what if at that very time war begins. Will he think that I am in a funny mood I don't want to fight? I will not respect my nation I will not perform my duty just because I am in a funny mood. No. He never does that. It's our national anthem and unless we respect it no one else is going to pay respect. Sometimes things should not be done according to our mood. It's our moral duty and we are bound to perform it.

Hello everyone.

I think that national anthem should not be played on cinema halls. As we know that people with different types of nature come to these cinema halls, some of them are renowned, intelligent and they know the value of national anthem. On the other hand some of them are irrational, arrogant and feel their disrespect on standing while national anthem is being played. Now these second category's people, neither they stand up for national anthem nor they sung it, even they make joke of the people of first category i.e. renowned intelligent and patriotic people.

Sometimes this causes quarrel in cinema halls, and many times fight also between these two category people.

I am not in opposition of national anthem but I am in opposition of disrespect of national anthem.

If national anthem is to be played on cinema halls, there should be proper management, guards to stop quarrels and to make everyone stand up while national anthem is being played.

Thank you.

THIS IS AMAN.

According to me, there is no need to play our national anthem inside cinema hall, because its not necessary. If you want to show patriotrism for our country so you should strictly follow our country rules & regulations.

You need to give respect to our soldiers, support them & their family.

We all get a chance of participation when our national anthem is playing on the occasion of republic day &. Independence day.

But if you really want to be a part of the national anthem on some other days. So you need to consider my following suggestions.

1) You should play it every day in your home at morning.

2) You should raise your voice to start new rule which is to play it every day in colleges, public & private offices.

3) government need to make one national anthem zone inside every city so it will also become a great part of showing communal harmony.

Before starting movies playing of the national anthem is not correct because it's not a right place. Even we don't know how many peoples are get standing or not, with this our national anthem get insulted & disrespected.

So I am strictly against to this rule. (hope you like this).

Hello everyone.

In my opinion, the national anthem should be played in cinema halls. Because it reminds us of the nation"s unity, integrity and diversity. To all those who are saying that cinema is a place where people come to relax and enjoy, it is really ironical that you are ready to spend your 3 hours without any issues but standing for 52 seconds is objectionable for you. People who are saying that patriotism comes from within and you don't need to show it, just imagine if soldiers at the borders start thinking like this that patriotism is within me and I don't need to stand at borders to prove it then what will happen. Apart from this in today's life with so much cut-throat competition, where everyone is busy in shaping their career and planning future, somewhere in between we forget about our country, our patriotism get lost up. National anthem in cinema halls will ignite patriotic feelings in us and energize us to develop our nation.

Hi everyone.

I would like to say that playing national anthem should not be enforced in cinema halls.

That's because, People go to cinema hall for entertainment, And standing for national anthem does not prove Patriotism. True patriotism is serving the country, if that cannot be done then provide better financial, social support for soldiers who are sacrificing their lives for us. Even a corrupt politician can stand for the national anthem.

Show true patriotism by serving our country.

"52 seconds" never had made people so judgmental, I am completely shocked to see that most so called patriotic people here thinks playing national anthem at cinema halls is completely bad idea; even they have many intellectual reasons too, hats off to them.

Now, when I have ever been to cinema halls I have seen about 98% of people standing and even half of them citing it too with proper respect and love, so that 2% doesn't comes under unpatriotic people, and even that 98% doesn't proves to be a patriotic one, but, the thing is; why we are so much worried for standing up for 52 seconds and showing respect, yeah. Yeah, one don't need to show respect like this but still Why NOT, what is so horrifying and dreadful if it is played, it is our National anthem brother. You can never rationalize your love to mother nation. It is by heart and whenever we are asked to we should do whatever in the name of our mother nation.

Now, when it was played at schools it was also not compulsory (same arguments can be raised for that also) then too but we did daily and that only infused us with the unconditional love for our nation and yes, Tell me friends after school how much you have listened it or stand for it, very rare so, if you are getting an opportunity to stand for it or even just sit and listen with people all around you makes us feel united, makes us feel connected, makes us feel together.

The gooze bombs and butterflies which I always felt while standing for national anthem is unexplainable and I will always whenever, wherever it will be played and I know my fellow brothers and sisters will do the same.

Hi everyone, I support that National Anthem should be played in theatres because;

1. We should show a little respect for our country just for 52seconds.

2. Why can't we play?

3. We have temples for devotion, but we don't have a place to show patriotism. No one found that so, it is being played where different community exists.

4. We should remember soldiers are sacrificing their lives.

5. It's not just a song, but it's a feeling.

6. It's not about the place, it's about the feeling and respect. Whether it is entertainment places or stadiums.

7. If you say that we are disrespecting in other ways like - flags are dumped somewhere, we should not spoil it, etc, its the problem of an individual the court should keep rules or punishments or fines for dumping flags, ignoring national anthem, etc,

8. The court gave an order regarding nobody stood during the national anthem being played and disrespecting, the court has made it mandatory to play the national anthem before starting any movie.

9. People who are sitting felt shame by watching the standing people.

10. We should not move during jana gana mana.

11. Children follow adults, so, if adults stand and respect then children will imitate them.

12. When you cannot stand for yourself, then how can soldiers or navy stand for you.

13. There is no rule to do not play the national anthem when the people are showing patriotism.

According to me, is our country in such a bad state that there is a need to make people remind about their patriotic feeling before a movie? If such is the condition of India, then I don't really think that this idea would be any helpful to make people be more respectful towards the country.

Making people stand forcefully for 52 seconds and then listening some gossips and some hatred words about the country is just a piece of disrespect for all those respectful people who lost everything to build our nation and nothing else.

There are certain rules and regulations to when and where the National anthem should be played.

Exactly the way there are rules in when and where the National Flag should be hoisted. Playing it whenever and wherever we want is not allowed. Even the prime minister of the country is not greeted with the national anthem before or after his speech, this honour is only for the president and the Governor only. The National anthem can be played when receiving a national flag as honour (by a martyred soldier's kin or parents or wife). People don't know the value of these things. You see National Flag being sold on roadsides. Flags are hoisted on road corners where it is drenched in dust and rain. Many of us don't know that National Flag should not be hoisted after 6 pm. If it rains we need to remove the flag to protect it from getting spoilt.

I strongly oppose National Anthem being played in Cinema halls and after a certain time.

Some people say it is respect for Nation. But by finding these we are actually disrespecting the nation itself.

According to me, National Anthem must be played in theatres. It is the need of the hour for today's generation and for all. We all are so much busy in our day to day life as nobody has time to pay homage to our soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for us. The theatre is a good platform to express and show our love and respect towards our own country by just standing for 52 Seconds listening to the National Anthem After all we are Indians it's our national and fundamental duty to pay honour to the country.
