According to me, the National anthem should not be played in cinema halls why forcefeed patriotism. Why we force to people that they have to stand up and attention when National anthem play and National flag on the view. Patriotism is the feeling that comes out from the heart, not by force so we should not force to people to show the Patriotism in the cinema halls. Cinema halls is not the place where we play the National Anthem suppose National anthem play before the vulgar scene and vulgar movie, vulgar jokes. Is it shows respect? Not. There are many formal areas than Cinema halls where National Anthem could play.

Hi,

In my opinion, 'National Anthem' should be played in the cinema hall. When each of us leaves school life or college life we stop attending to national festivals of our country due to which we do not pledge or sing our national anthem since these festivals are considered as national holidays. So rather than gathering and singing our national anthem on auspicious events like the 'Independence day' and 'Republic day', only two days a year, we choose to stay at home or get out to enjoy our holidays and this should change! definitely. But when we gather to watch a cinema in the theatre we have this chance to celebrate our patriotism every time we are there.

Good evening all of you.

Today's topic is should national anthem played in cinema hall so my answer is "Yes". Because of we gather in cinema hall before it people aware our country love. So it would be a great feeling for our country. Today all people busy in daily work. So they don't have time to spend for our country. So, this is a way to aware about our patriotism. For little moments they should wake up by anthem. If we tell each work we do every day it's whatever either personal or social if it's helpful to all it is our patriotism.

National anthem must not be played in cinema halls because the main point is that national anthem must not be played under roof. If the national anthem doesn't get respect by the people in hall it will be ashamed for us if the foreigners see it. If it is played before any vulgar movie it mean of disrespecting anthem. And court passed if anyone doesn't follow the rule of standing there are forced to get punished it mean the court know they will not as anthem is patriotic song we have to respect heartfully.

Yes.

As per my opinion, National Anthem should be played in cinema halls as it is an excellent idea to develop the feeling of patriotism in every citizen.

If talking about the disrespect of anthem, then I believe that if we keep playing it and keep trying, then one day all citizens shall learn the importance of anthem and respect it.

And people can learn a lot from their surroundings as well.

According to my point of view, this is not a issue to play national anthem in cinema halls. Why somebody opposing this means somebody disrespect national anthem. Some persons cannot stand and sing the anthem because they have no patriotic, and not understandable. Song playing before cinema, it is good thing to sing the anthem. Kids have a large wish to sing. Kids should have feel patriotic. My suggestion is that national anthem play in cinema halls and that anthem relevant meaning should be displayed means everybody should be know that why national anthem play.

I appreciate the views of my all dear friends.

No doubt Patriotism is in every citizen of India nd in one way or the other everyone tries to ful fill its duty towards the nation like some help the poor, soldiers by protecting us from miscreants (terrorists).

Now, the apex court of the country made it mandatory that national anthem must be played in cinema halls. I appreciate this decision because national anthem is a way of expressing our respect towards the martyrs, freedom fighters, unity in diversity nature of India. Merely standing for 52 seconds nd to feel proud of your country is not a big deal. It reminds us of our duty towards our nation nd cherish the saga, valour, sacrifice the country has made to reach the position in which the country is today.

The need of the hour is that not only in the cinema halls but we should also encourage such kind of practices in different govt sector, private sector organisations nd take this initiative to the broader level.

It is just like you being a theist and you know god exists everywhere but still, you recite the name of god daily nd also pray in front of idols in temples, masjids, church or at home because you know if I pray in front of idols it would be more devotional. Same is the case with the national anthem. The more you sing it more you feel "patriotic".

People saying no nd citing the reasons that they go there for entertainment nd some saying not to be played before vulgar movies. I just want to ask is national anthem fetching your entertainment? After 52 seconds won't you be able to enjoy to film as you wanted?nd it is not vulgarity. It is just your way of thinking. If your thinking says the movie is vulgar then why are you in the cinema hall. Just don't come to watch. Some movies highlight the brothels in their movies because its what the movie demands. That doesn't mean due to this our national anthem nd our feeling is degraded because other things are also a part of our life nd we need to address them also.

So concludingly I would like to say we all must strive to take this initiative to a broader level nd take our nation to a position where everyone wants to work for country first rather for oneself.

JAI HIND.

This freedom should be given to cinema hall owner. It is their choice to play or not. I agree that singing the national anthem is not the proof of your patriotism towards the country, but what is a problem if you sing once. It hardly takes 52 seconds to complete. We can waste our 3hr time in watching a movie, then can't we spare 52 sec time for the national anthem. It is usually seen that we salute our flag and sing national anthem just twice in a year that is independence and republic day, so cinema hall provides one more day to sing and salute it. What is wrong in that?

I feel there is no need to play national anthem in cinema halls because if we want to respect our nation we can do that anywhere. Why only in cinema halls just because all gather there. Some come for fun. To spend time with their beloved ones. Standing up for 2 minutes is not an issue. But most of them won't do that. They are busy with their works. Actually no one bother about. One should feel the patriotism we can't force. I wanna conclude saying that if we really respect love care for the nation. Why only in cinema halls. We can feel patriotism anywhere and everywhere.

The national anthem should be played in cinema halls. It is the place where we can see all the communities, different castes and religions of people together. Playing national anthem reminisces that we all Indians are one irrespective of sex, age, religion, region, language etc. It helps us to develop synergy. It leads us to move towards harmony and integrity.
