As per me playing the national anthem before movie should not create any problem to viewers because if they can give their 3 hours to a movie then they can also give 52 seconds for nation's integrity. But if we look from general perspective then one question would always be there that why it becomes mandatory to play the national anthem at places where people are far -far away from the feeling of patriotism. This method shows that Indians do not have any feeling toward their nation.

Yes, why not? If we provide our time for watching movie then why not for some nation's pride which is national anthem. From this we can give good example of our unity and our love toward nation.

According to me, National Anthem should be played in cinema halls. Tell me one thing, what\'s the problem in playing it before a movie? If you are not playing it no issues. But if you play it then what's the problem? I think there is no problem. Instead while standing for national anthem with other 100 to 200 Indians will make you feel proud of your nation. There will be people from the different area of your city whom you don't even know. But while standing with them for national anthem a brotherhood feeling will come for them. And it is just about 52 sec. One more thing, other than twice in a year (26th Jan and 15th Aug) when do we play national anthem. So it is better to play it in the cinema hall.
Thanks and Regards

From my side, it must be mandatory according to the movie.
If it is played against any inappropriate movie it will show disrespect towards our nation but if played it would widen the chests of the cheerful young generations so the national anthem must be played against a fair and UA certified movie rather than an inappropriate movie.

Hi there,
In my view, national anthem should not be mandatory in cinema halls because nationalism is a thing which comes from within a person. We cannot force it on anyone. Moreover, cinema halls have a different kind of movies and playing the national anthem before any inappropriate movie is like insulting are a nation and it's dignity. Also, people come in theatres for their entertainment and not to prove their patriotism. So, rather than forcing this thing on anyone, we should make this thing a choice of every individual.
Thank you!

Hello,
I think the NATIONAL ANTHEM is the pride of our country and as well as the pride of those people who are genuinely respected to our motherland or our India. But if we are talking about the anthem be played in cinema hall so I think a cinema hall is a place where everyone who are coming to spend some time to enjoy a life with our friends and families. And cinema hall are also not a right place to show our feelings for our country. And the main and biggest thing is we are not forced to someone to stand in front of the TIRANGA and give the respect from the anthem.
So, the NATIONAL ANTHEM should not be played in cinema halls.
Thank you.

Hello there. I think that playing National anthem in cinema Halls is not a bad thing. The. Anthem is for the nation and it depends on the perceiving nature of human to interpret the meaning. Whenever I am in cinema hall to watch a movie, the national anthem reminds me that, " Boy you are safe. We the soilders are protecting you. " This thought makes me happy and thankful to at least stand up and pay a heart respect to the angels protecting our nation and there is nothing wrong by doing this.
One more thing I would like to add is that barely after our schooling we have heard national anthem every day. What was your last time you heard the National anthem. Maybe the answer will be in a " CINEMA HALL" only.

I don't know why people can't stand for even 52 seconds of time, it's our motherland. We have the time to watch the movie for 3 hours but we didn't have the time to stand. Yes, it's our duty to show respect to our national anthem.
