Should national anthem be played in cinema halls?

It's a good idea to play national anthem in cinema halls, but still, I didn't find it so very necessary. It's a kind of honour and we must respect it. I want to share one of the incidences where one boy didn't stand and also asked his friend not to stand when the national anthem started playing. I really felt very bad and I thought it's really not a good idea to play national anthem in cinema halls because people started neglecting it and it's really a major issue when people started ignoring it. For me, if a person starts ignoring that it's the first step to break a relation. I don't want as a citizen of the country anyone should do that.

I also believe that not everything should be done everywhere. We should see the surrounding, then act accordingly.

So, I recommend that we should not play national anthem in cinema halls.

I would like to share my personal experience, once I had gone to the cinema hall, when the national anthem started, I marked that some persons were giving proper respect and the rest of them were just busy in there talk & all. I am not saying this idea is wrong, but here the wrong thing is a selection of place. Because if you really want to apply this rule, then you should apply all these rules in every educational field (school, college, university) which is the pillar of a student. From which they will learn how to give respect. No doubt, it's a new idea and a change is better than nothing. Need to some amendment in this rule. Jai Hind.

First of all, we are Indian and secondly, It comes on us automatically whenever we are going outside and we listened to the national anthem so we stand there and sing. It's a human nature but nobody can force us. In this generation, nobody has a feeling for that person's who left their life for freedom. I want to ask a question for you guys tell me that you are going in a cinema hall to watch the movie you have 2:00 hours for that but you don't give the 2min to our nation but It depends on person to person how much respect they give their nation.

That's because, People go to cinema hall for entertainment, And standing for national anthem does not prove Patriotism. True patriotism is serving the country, if that cannot be done then provide better financial, social support for soldiers who are sacrificing their lives for us. Even a corrupt politician can stand for the national anthem.

But I think it should not be compulsory every person is standing when the national anthem played it depends on that if they want to stand or not.

The main thing is that we need to sing the national anthem to pay tribute to those people who ruined their lives to gain freedom for us.

Actually, in India, half of the people they don't know about our national anthem only educated peoples know about this anthem so all related peoples are going to watch movies in that time national anthem played in cinema hall then peoples are known about this anthem.

Many of you have said that it should not be enforced on the people and it should not be played in the hall. I like to share my points only for these people that you should be thanked to god that you are living in India. Our government is trying to inculcate patriotism among people so whats wrong in that? Our country is filled with different communities, caste, religion it is important to unite them. There is a need of patriotism so we can overcome from the problem like brain drain and many more. I m in army sometimes we do our duty in off time also. We also feel that it is our rest time but no we have to do it for any cause because it's my duty to serve the nation wherever it needs me. So it is a duty of a citizen also to respect the anthem, not because you are in any service because you are living in India.

Big changes come from small steps.

It is our luck that India is a democratic nation. Not a communism like China and other countries. So this is not supposed to be discussing a topic, not at all.

According to me, every religion person in India is Proud to be an Indian. Singing A National anthem in Cinema Hall doesn't prove to be an Indian. As we Respect our Religion we Respect our Country. As we respect our religion culture we respect our Indian culture.

A cinema Hall is a place where we have the entertainment with a friend and have some personal things with our girlfriend's.

So, this is not the right place to play the National Anthem.

Hi, I am Dhioshmati Devi, Assam. This is not an issue to point out that we are the Indians. If it plays, never arises any questions of one's profit or loss. India is a democratic country, so no one compelling upon other one's respect to his/her nation. It is the tribute to our country by internal respect. It should not be playing by any demands, pressure. If one wishes, it may play peacefully as a true patriot.

In my opinion, national anthem should be played in cinema halls.

Becouse now a days everyone is busy in their daily life. So this is the place for them.

In the era we are living in this time people are becoming so smart. But they are going away from culture.

And every type of people come in cinema halls so atleast they what our national anthem is.

So in my opinion, playing national anthem in cinema halls are very good decision.
