No India should not to follow one child policy but follow two children policy. That is good rather than one children.

Definitely yes, because if any family have more than one child or many, so it's not up to family problem only but it also create a much of problem for society. As we can see in society perspective, in our surrounding everything are extravagant, there are still some childs who don't get education, most of youth have been facing unemployment, child labour, population has been increasing.

Yes. For the time being, this policy can be adopted. It has been predicted that India will overtake China by 2050 in terms of population. One child policy is needed mainly when the nation is unable to meet the consumption, employment needs of its people. India is facing the same problem. Currently, youths constitute a major part of population. This is the reason that for the time being this policy can be adopted. Though Indian economy is growing very fast but still unemployment is prevalent. But there can be a hurdle for implementation of this policy- the mindsets of people. The decision of having kids completely depends on the family itself. So it will be a kind of interference by government which might not be welcomed.

Every person in this world is born with an inherited potential with the essence of uniqueness. India's greatest strength is its vast human resource belonging to wide diversities. Dr. A PJ Abdul Kalam was the youngest of his four brothers and sister. Gandhi Ji was the youngest of the four children in his family. If India had a one-child policy back then, we would have lost some of our great legends.
Population explosion is a serious concern across the globe. But We need to overcome that by proper resource planning and measures aiming at sustainable development.

No, absolutely not, because India is 2nd largest country in the world in the manner of population and it has a great history and thoughts of ancestors to grow and live with family. In a single child, a family will not become a joint family and remain a nuclear family so it causes many effects on human find because there will not be a present to guide a boy and no one other bro/sis to play with him. Then he will not know the feeling of family and then our India will become like England and us there condition of the family are worst and now China is facing the same problem and their sex ratio is facing a problem so we should learn from other countries what are happening in other countries then implement here.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Sagar Gupta, Let's start discussing today's topic "Implementation of One Child Policy in India".
I think this question arises because of the overpopulation problem that India is facing right now which is hindering the employment level, health issues, population and whatnot.
But Implementation of this policy is myopic it might help with the problems that I said earlier but in the long run we might create issues like what's happening in China, where more than 50 percent of their population is old which might lead to lower workforce participation and decrease the growth rate of any country.
So, we should go slow and rather than having drastic policies like this we take step by step like first strengthening our ongoing campaigns like "Bache do hi ache".
Thankyou.

Hello everyone.
First of all, thanks for giving me this opportunity.
So the given topic is very interesting (should India have a one-child policy?).
In my opinion, India shouldnot apply this policy because in future the child will not have any siblings and relatives then they feel lonely but if we look at the other side, India should have a one-child policy because poor parents have one child then they will Able to give good education to their child and but poor parents have more than one child then they will not Able to give good education.
Because of this India should have one-child policy.
"If we look at it from one side then it is right but if we look at it from the other side then it is also wrong".
Thanks.

In my way, India should have one child policy as it is estimating that India will overcome China, that may difficult to provide food and shelter for all. So, India should have one child and one adopted child.
If it is not regulated then providing employment to all will become an imagination, even now employ is in very low quantity.

In my view, one child policy is quite interesting but it will be a dramatic policy to the grannies of India. Cuz never ever two child s are not enough to them. But yeah one-child policy is not to be employed cuz it might lead to many dangerous issues. Well, the population is always high and intelligence too. But for sharing and bonding two will be quite good and enough watever the sex maybe. The thing one should eradicate is blind brains of those fathers who are more obsessed o getting baby boys who never care for wife n her problems. One needs to take stand against this. Then the population might control instead of one child policy.

In my point of view, India should not have a one Child policy because it should be dependent on the couples of their interest. Who can afford money can have more than one child and who are from poor background they can only afford one child. So it depends on the individual or the couple. We can't decide the law.
But we have to think of the population also. As India occupies the second position in terms of population. So, not that we are having money we can have 5 children's. Just think about it and having 2 children in a family is good.
Thank you.
