Yes, Hindi along with English can be the official language of India. Official language doesn't mean it is the national language of India. So people don't need to worry if they don't know Hindi. Hindi is spoken by almost 45% of the total population of India. Hence, it is the most widely used language of India. Many south Indian languages also take a word from Hindi language. Atleast, it can be our official language.
As a nation, we need a language that can unite us and we can understand each other in a better way. This can be done by the Hindi language.
Thank you.

Well I 'm also an Indian. I love Hindi language and fell proud but I 'm the most Gaga for global language English, I do immensely love to talk in English to anybody. Shouldn't be official language of Hindi because in India various languages are speaking then can be it make official language after can't say it that. It is national language we persuade it so called national language, But the fact is that, India is such a country where not one multiple languages are used.

Hello, everyone!
In India most commonly understandable language is Hindi. It should be the official language. To address the whole nation, to make our nation unite, our great freedom fighters used the language Hindi, not their respective local languages. Why does our president, PM address the nation in Hindi or in English, (though they do not belong to Hindi speaking states) not in any other languages? English is a foreign language, to connect to the rest part of the world it should be used. I understand in a southern part of India most don't understand Hindi. But I am surprised why they are so hesitant to learn the language. To talk, to communicate with a common man of India who belongs to any part the country, India should have a commonly accepted language. Hindi is perfect for that. Let's make our nation unite, not divide by language, cast, religion etc.

From my point of view, Hindi should be declared as official language of India. But, There is many state in India, where many people does not understand Hindi like in South India and north-eastern state. I am Hindi speaker, but I think government should give some time for those and motivate them for learning Hindi and as Indian people, we should be proud on India and should believe in unity even in language.

We speak English because English is understood in the most parts of the world. It is a global language. Similarly, we need a common language like Hindi which is understood by all the states of India. We must be proud of our language.

I am an Indian and I am proud of it. India has a variety of culture. Hindi is our national language but our official language should be English as the language itself creates many riots among Indians. Please people we need peace don't fight over these topics rather we should get united to represent our India in this world. So that our country will soon turn into a developed nation.

Yes, I Agree that because in India most of the people who speak in Hindi. Or they love to talk in Hindi. Every country has own official language nd In India only 30% to 40% people know the English language so in that case Hindi is higher than English language or other languages.
So it's easy to say.
Hindi should be our official language.

Hii guys.
In my opinion, Hindi should not be the official language of India as.
1. Hindi is mainly spoken by major part of our country. But not in the whole country (like South India).
2. If we make Hindi our official language then I would become difficult for Foreigner to understand it.
3. As English is spoken by major part of the world so it becomes very convenient for the world to understand it and work runs smoothly.
4. If we make Hindi our official language then it would become difficult for some people of our own country to understand it like South Indians.
5. South Indians are not good in Hindi but they are much fluent in English.
6. If Hindi becomes the official language then we have to keep a translator with us all the time who can make them understand what our documents are saying.

Hi every one.
In my way, Hindi should be an official language of India. As compared to other developed countries like USA and USSR, the literary will be less.
So in India, everyone can not be able to talk in English or other 22 languages in India.
But we can communicate with other state people, and also have some works, that's why all of you have one official language is needed.
Hindi language I have spoken by India in maximum percent, so in our country, Hindi is our official language.
