As we all know that language is a source to communicate the thoughts of a person to the other but in India, most of the people speak Hindi than another language in my point of view Hindi should be an official language English is also necessary for our because it is most widespread language of the world. As we speak more language our knowledge as well as our eagerness of communicating with people increase.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hello everyone,
According to my thought, official language should be made to that language where each and every person from Kashmir to Kanyakumari will be able to understand and speak as well.
Every language is beautiful just like every festival of India is.
So Hindi should be made official language but that doesn't mean we should ignore other languages because each language plays important role in its own way.

As per my opinion, a single language cannot be the official language of a country like India where multiple languages are being spoken. One more factor is that in many states or cities people even understand Hindi. Besides this nowadays the Indian market has Imphal numbers of Foreign companies where English is the only language even in many govt offices we use English only. So A single language cannot play well.

I believe India is the mixture of different cultures. In India there are different religions peoples are living. Language is just a way to communicate with other people and that man should understand what he wants to speak. We can't force to those who don't know the Hindi language. Most of the peoples knew the Hindi language but nowadays, English is much important for the job or to maintain foreign relations.

I am Malatesh.
In my view, should be Hindi is our official language because.
Advantages:.
1) India Currently have 74.04 percent literacy rate out of 121crores population but out of 74.04 only 35 to 40 percent people are able to speak in English but more than 75 percent people are able to speak in Hindi in India so it's very helpful to interact with others.
2) It is very helpful to uneducated people.

Hindi must not be the official language. How would you feel if your mother is dragged out and replaced by another? Hindi speaking people, on the other hand, must learn to respect India of her diversity and cultural heritage. People In this forum supporting Hindi need to have some gratitude, for south has provided shelter to millions and millions of north Indians. Is this a way to show your respect in return?

From my point of view, Hindi should be declared as official language of India. But, There is many state in India, where many people does not understand Hindi like in South India and north-eastern state. I am Hindi speaker, but I think government should give some time for those and motivate them for learning Hindi and as Indian people, we should be proud on India and should believe in unity even in language.

The Indian constitution, in 1950 declared Hindi in Devanagari script to be the official language of the union The use of English for official purposes was to cease 15 years after and there are 22 languages in India. In West Bengal also speak Hindi. Around 53% of the Indian population understand, speak and probably able to write hindi in India.
Total hindi speaker =53%.
Total English speakers =12%.

Yes, Hindi should be an official language. Hindi language is widely spoken language. About 60-65% of the people in India spoke this language. People from all over India knows this language. If you take an address which is not known to you and went to other parts of the country. Maybe you don't know their native language but if you know Hindi then you definitely get some help. That is the power of Hindi.
