Business is playing a very important role in business at all Level. Because of some reason are as:
1. Cost control.
2. Performance, revenue and profit may also need business ethics.
3. Consumer confidence build the ethics.
4. Ethics tell what is good or bad for business.
5. Ethics help to make a reality of business.
6. Rights of consumer build the ethics.
So, ethics ethics play very crucial role in business.

Nowadays the definition of business has become receiving profit at the cost of goods and services. But how good would this line be that the definition of business is receiving enormous satisfaction at the cost of services and goods provided? Profit might not last longer but satisfaction will throughout. So I guess following ethics in everything will help us achieve the purpose of life.

Business ethics is a subset of ethics. Business ethics is a specialized study of moral right and wrong in the business arena. It focuses on moral standards and rules as they specifically apply to business strategies and choices, policies and rules, business institutions and organizational behavior. Business ethics is the science of values and principles in business exchanges.

According to my point of view, we must follow ethics in business then only the business should be sustainable for long period of time. We don't follow means we may face more problem in upcoming period of time. For Eg. like Maggi, the company follow some unethical way so now the product is banned. Hence to survive in long terms ethics should be an vital part of your business.

Ethics is good only in real life not for business. Motive of business to earn money and to run successfully. But it dose not mean that we makes business unethical because there are two parameter to judge it. First is be human kind in life and second is be a look forward in business. It is depend on different field even if that is something else.

Let me borrow a quote from Mahatma Gandhi that "It is difficult, not impossible to run a strictly honest business". I also think that way, because recently reliance Jio cut down data rates drastically so that it affects other companies but if these companies have a given good offers earlier they could have survived and that will be an ethics.

I also believe that ethics are vital to be there in an organization if it wants to survive for a long period of time.
But now a days, globalization has made things possible for different companies to do the business in any country and these companies don't care about the moral and ethical values that are supposed to be there in them.

Hello. Actually I didn't have any idea on ethics in business. But after seeing your discussions, I've got an idea. Ethics is important in business to gain long termed profits. By this the company feel safe and secure. The company may not develop faster but haves a trust of their customers. So ethics play a very imp. Role in business.

The word, 'Ethics' means principle. Principles are made to guide people towards peace and prosperity. But it is not apt for a business man to follow ethics. Once it was appreciated whereas today it vanishes from the minds of the business man. It is too difficult for the business man to follow ethics to gain profit.
