Role of Engineers in Disaster Management

I'm here with my new readings towards Engineers. Engineers design, evaluate, test, modify, install, inspect, maintain a wide product of variety and systems. Engineers apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between scientific discoveries and commercial applications that meet societal and consumer needs. Many engineers develop new products.

There are now six major branches of engineering: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Management, and Geotechnical, and literally hundreds of different subcategories of engineering under each branch.

Engineers thrive for fixing things and try to modify the existing procedure to make it faster. There are great Indian Engineers we've had seen who worked phenomenal for the growth of Indians and make every one of us proud.

Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya: He was a notable Indian engineer, scholar, statesman, and the Diwan of Mysore from 1912 to 1918.

Satish Dhawan: He is known as the father of experimental fluid dynamics research in India.

Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam(APJ Abdul Kalam): He is known as the missile man of India. He also served as 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007.

E. Sreedharan: He is known as the Metro Man of India.

Raghuram Govind Rajan: He was the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. He was also the chief economist at the International Monetary Fund from 2003 to 2007.

Sundar Pichai: Pichai joined Google in 2004 and currently, he is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google Inc.

Nagavara Ramaroa Narayana Murthy: He is an Indian IT industrialist and the co-founder of Infosys.

Verghese Kurien: He is also known as the Father of the White Revolution in India.

Satyanarayan Gangaram Pitroda: He is popularly known as the Father of India's Computer and IT Revolution as he helped Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in bringing computerization as an advisor to the PM. He was also an advisor to the PM during Dr. Manmohan Singh's tenure.

So as we see that there are great engineers who worked hard to change the social structure we live in and they helped us to live a comfortable life we living in.

In my opinion, Engineers played a very important role in Disaster management. Disaster management which is popularly known as Emergency management. It is a discipline that involves preparing, supporting and rebuilding when natural or human-made disasters occur. The aim is to reduce the harmful effects of all hazards, including disasters.

Good morning everyone today is a very big day to glad to me you all. And coming to today's topic, the role of engineering in disaster management that in these day engineer plays an impact role in our daily life because when you wake up our day starts all the process or things are based on the engineer. Every engineer plays an important role because for motorcycle mechanical engineer is a need, for fuel chemical engineer is a need, for electricity electrical engineer is a need. For all these works every engineer is needed. Without this, you don't know everything. So engineer is not an easy job. It's just a word to tell easy. But it not easy to finish the work.

Hello everyone, I am glad to get this opportunity to express my view on the topic: "Role of Engineers in Disaster Management".

Engineers are the pillars of civilization. The main role of engineers is to implement science in real life for the betterment of society. When it comes to disaster management, engineers can play a very vital role. Technologies are developing each and every day. Now, we can be able to know the advance forecast of any type of disasters or natural calamities and according to that forecast we can take preventive measures. This has become possible for scientists and engineers. Sometimes the effect of the disaster becomes really terrible and tragic. Electric posts fall and the entire area can not get electricity. On that time Engineers are the one and only solution. Besides, many houses are broken, trees are uprooted, for all those cases Engineers can give proper solutions. So, I conclude by saying that Engineers are the only persons who can rotate the wheel of civilization and present a better world in front of us.

Engineers have a very important role in disaster management. Engineers can reduce the loss which will occur by these natural disasters by their proper planning and mindful execution of technology and instruments. Every engineer has his role here, as a mechanical engineer one can develop best machines which won't effect easily by nature like shockproof railway tracks, bridges etc.

Civil engineer can work on the roads and buildings so that they won't easily collapse by earthquakes etc and also electrical engineer can develop the best electric pillars to not collapse on the roads, right after they got the information about these disasters they can disconnect the electricity so that many people can save their lives by some shocks in raining they can alert the people from hit zones.

I am Sainath today's discussion topic is the role of engineers in disaster management.
The quote that specifies " an engineer is the backbone of the nation" This is really a true an engineer can manage the disaster by their logical mind for future calamities. The proper management that can really helpful for the future. They can design a project or an idea that the future disaster may be properly managed.

The engineer has the ability to predict the climate condition by there knowledge and the help of technology and instruments. So because of this, we can able to be ready to face that particular disaster.

The engineer is an important role in disaster management. Engineer makes many types of development of society.

I am Rakesh today's topic is the Role of Engineers in disaster management.

I want to suggest some point that shows how important engineer for our society. Before the accent year, there are so many disasters happen and many people die, some people lose their homes. I know this is not in our hands but what we can do preparation for that situation. But it is not possible earlier. But the good news is this is now possible we got information about any disaster so we can prepare for it this invention gives by our engineer. That's why an engineer is the backbone of our system. We everything doing traveling, calculation so many this is a big invention discovered by the engineer. Really proud of it. The engineer is the inventor for all discovery due to engineer we can estimate weather conditions and rain come or not we can also get it. I think they deserve a salute.

According to my point of view, the engineer plays a very vast role in disaster management. In ancient times we are not aware of the thing like an earthquake, storm but now the present scenario we are having vast thinking about these disasters. Engineer makes us aware of that or which will happen in the future. So by knowing this we buddy are able to save the life of mankind. And second thing is that we can't challenge to nature. If there is something gone mishappening then our engineer makes them all good the same as previous. I think the engineer gave us a new world in which we can live a luxury life. The engineer made human work very easy in every field. So, at last, I wanna say that engineer is doing a brilliant job in every field apart from disaster management.

Engineer plays a very important role in disaster management, engineer gives information about climate conditions, without an engineer we can't imagine the world. Not only a particular branch is important every branch has its own importance, like how our five fingers is important to our hand like that every branch has its own importance, inventions of new software is done by computer science engineer, constructions of buildings is done by civil engineers, inventions of vehicles & new things is done by mechanical engineers, inventions of different types of bulbs is done by electrical engineers. Engineers can create a world.
