There should be a determined retirement age for politicians. As it gives the young blood chance to prove themselves by running nation. We know every job has a retirement age. Every coin has a two sides. Elder people have ample of experience. They make the younger generation known to the measures and principles of politics.

So I advice the constitution that there should be a age of retirement. But there should be some post in the government "the elderly advisory council".

I think age play a very important role in our life. But some political leader play a role in very long time which is very dangerous to country because they don't able to speak someone. So I think age of retirement of politician is 55 years.

According to me in India the politicians time period should be for maximum 8-10 years. Because when they have joined politics his mind thought more than 90% in developing the country. After this period his mind thought just on earning money.

So this is depends upon the mental ability of person. If they do best work for the country then I think there is no need to retired a person. Otherwise if does not work properly then also no need to retired there is need to terminate.

According to me like in other sectors there should also be the retirement age in politics because we should also give chance to the youngsters as they are the future of the country and able to make good policies according to its new thinking.

In country like India where there are huge %of youngsters there should be a good young politicians who can easily understand the problem of the youth. So according to me there should be the retirement age for politicians.

Hi guys.

My thought is that politicians should have a particular age when they would go out of seat, I know experience matters in this but the politicians need to give rise to younger ones in some places like Nigeria you can see a president still on seat at the age of 60 which is very wrong.

At a very old age like that all he can think of is how to embezzle money from the country income but if younger generations stand for president and eventually becomes a president he would have ideas on how to help the county at his young age I think the retirement age for president should be 60-70 years.

In all fields, besides politics and business, there should be a retirement age. But in case of politics experience matters. Because with the increment in age you are going to gain experience and with the help of experience you could do better than any other young blood experience is like an entropy which always increases with time. So, if experience has no age to be gained then I must say there should be no retirement age for politician.

Hi friends,

Pankaj Chahakar.

Their is no need of politician age to be consider for retirement, they have a more experience than youngster and they can face some certain situation can get solution by their experience and one thing younger can do every thing because they have ability. And we should go with younger they are the future of our country they are making our country develop and knowledgeable, if the politician is too much older and can't take proper decision it has to be retire it self and we can consider him as a political guru.

Hi everyone,

I think there should be no age for the retirement of politician. Retirement should be on the basis of ability. If one can perform well in the later age of his life why should not we give him a chance. If a old age person is able to think as a youngster, able to bring new ideas, new schemes for welfare we should take advantage of him. If someone is at old age that doesn't mean that he will perform bad as compared to younger politician.

Hi everyone.

I firmly believe that lowly educated people or people who lack the presence of mind should never be allowed to contest in the elections, and yes age age limit is a must. Today as we gear up for bigger role in world economy, we cannot leave the reins of our country in a government filled with people who are old, incompetent and cannot take smart decisions. Having said that, how can we, the common people make it happen?

According to me, it is better to set a duration of some five years for a person to continue in politics irrespective of his age. Because in this duration, the people who have elected the person will come to know the ability of the candidate.

This duration is sufficient for a person to serve the people if he really had such a desire. According to me, a person's strong will towards achieving overall progress of the nation and the concern about the people matters, not the age limit. So setting a retirement age for politicians is illogical one.

If a person is really willing to serve the people he can do that at any age. An ideal politician will always support the youth so that even they get the opportunity as they don't bother about their position and power.
