Retirement Age for Politicians

I think retirement age for politician is must. Because first of all politicians are mainly a human being. As age crosses above 65 humans feel tired, his mental and physical ability reduces. I didn't think that politician above age 65 should rest at home. They had another option to guide young politicians.

According to my point of view, there must be retirement age to politicians so that the new younger people who entered into politics and haven't made any corruptions will make some of bills like Lokpal against corruption. Moreover in developed countries like america the terms for president are two only.

Yes, of course we, the people should agree that nothing is static. So there is a need of retirement for politicians too. So even now, if they don't go ahead with retirement policy, people remains same and too problem remains same. We knows that experienced remains a lot.

Even now, the experienced candidates are head of our Indian politics and still they are fighting against their own matters not people matters. So if they retired at a certain age, may be some other people stands out and win, further they might change our nation tremendously better than others.

Changes will always change something.

I think politicians who are above 60 needs a rest so age limit should be 60 because as you know in every govt employee has retirement age of 60 so they are not experienced? They are not well versed in the field? Then how come politicians continue there journey after 60.

And people who are now at 60 has many health issue they sleep in the Rajya Sabha hall, they get sleep in the meeting hall there are many peoples are disturbed with there health nowadays.

And for every issues they use old traditional method to solve, today we are surrounded with technology, till today same old papers are running on the table of Govt employee so when expect the change, definitely change is needed, we are dreaming for digital India to come true.

So I strongly feel politician age limit should be fixed.

No, there is no need to set a retirement age for politicians. We have seen many examples of leaders, our country has had, many of them, despite of their old age they did great job in the Indian politics, and there are also examples of young leaders who couldn't perform well in it, so in the history of Indian politics and even in the present scenario, I think age didn't matter. And also we do need some experienced leaders in our political system to run it efficiently with the help of their experience.

Yes, I agree to you Rajender Singh, but it should be ensured that the youngsters should not be corrupt minded. Youngsters are the future of our nation. They should manage the country responsibly. If done, the country soon will be fully developed.

I think politician retirement age should be 60 years because many of politicians age above 65 years and should give the chance to youngsters as they have many ideas, ability to do work hard and it is good for our country for development.

Hi friends according to my perceptions I think most of you are support the retirement of politicization agree and know all the good ideas my aim is not to put anyone in confusion according to me teeth is no need for retirement for politicians. There is more need for experience leaders. However for develop the country there is more need of good experience leader. Let a example of Narendra Modi, he is a powerful leader. He do many type of work in comparison to new generation leaders.

According to my point of view, politicians must have a retirement age so that the youth will fetch an opportunity to exhibit their talents of making right choices for the development of our country. There are only few politicians who think and work for the improvement of our nation while others are corrupted. May be the youth can make a difference in improving the present condition of our nation. Of course they do need advice from experienced people.

Well, I agree with most of you who says that retirement is necessary for politicians. To support my points I would say that from the 1st term or 2nd term of joining polities he could do everything needed either for developing purpose or getting money for personal gains and then after that the remaining years will be because of the wealth, respect and reputation which would help him to stay in polities that will have nothing to do with the country's development. So, its better to have a retirement age for a politicians.
