Retirement Age for Politicians

Yes. I agree with the topic that retirement age should be there for politician also. As we are a county 2.5 bl population, majority of whom are youngster's. After a certain age the old politician should step down by themselves.

So that a fresh generation can come up and take the charge and help the country grow with fresh energy & new Ideas. After retirement Senior politicians can work as mentor to the young gang and share their experience which will give proper guidance to the new people.

Yes I agree that retirement must be there for politician after a certain period because politician are also human being and after a certain age they get prone to the health related issue and in many jobs there is retirement age because of the same reason so there should be retirement age in politics.

Whilst senior politician would have valuable knowledge and experience generally they more conventional approach which act as barrier to new thoughts and ideas, having set a retirement age for politician would ensure that a person knows reign of power would end at a definite point of time and he may have to answer for any misappropriation sooner rather than later.

Some politician have a wealth of knowledge and experience, which is essential for the role but in order to ensure that one does not remain in seat of power indefinitely. And young people are able to take key positions in political arena, thus contribution fresh ideas and new perspective, it is essential that politicians also retire at a predetermined age.

Yes there must be a retirement age for politicians as they are also human being like us. At later stage of life they also get prone to diseases which affect their body functioning. Their thinking capability goes down.

I think politician age should be fixed as 58 after that they cannot go in rallies to address people they also need some rest who so ever is physically fit they should join.

I'm not in the favour of philosophy that politicians should retire unless he or she is physically and mentally fit. Rather they should reign the situations and recruit the young and energetic youths for future. Politics run on the wheels of energetic youths and older wisdom is always meaningful.

I think retirement is not necessary for politicians because young generation can take charge quickly but experience politician can go ahead and thinks for future generation before implement of any projects.

According to me politicians in India should have a detriment age because if not then they should going to increase their salary and pensions and fund and not going to do a single good work. Remember that Indian politicians are not faithful like other country.

I think politicians should have retirement age limit i.e, 60-65 years in between. Because youth has great ideas to develop the country by guidance of senior leaders. The senior politicians or leaders best to give them a chance to get a good position in our democracy.

I don't think that politics is a job to have the retirement age limit. Politics is a social service which has really a great social responsibility to lead our country in the correct path so as to live for the people, by the people and to the people, a man who have this kind of thoughts is really rare in the current scenario.
