No, religion should not be mixed with politics because if they do so some of the politicians may take advantage of this to increase their votes. Let us think if a politician who won in the name of religion would only full fill the promises that he or she gave it the particular religion. So this would violate the rule right to equality, right to opportunity and etc. Which is not good and this may lead to conflicts, war etc. For example the conflict between Andhra people and Telangana people which led to division of the state Andhra Pradesh into two states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Hi everyone,
I can say that for a good thing to happen at first we should wake up. Why should we encourage politicians to bring religious feeling between us? One should respect others and their religion. If we are going to react based on religious politics it will reflect on us. If we are going to choose the person who respects his/her duty this discrepancy may not be raised. So change should come from within. If we are strong enough that we don't have religious feelings between us no one can raise that topic even. If we try to change within we can expect the change in society.

NO, I don't support this statement. Religion and Politics are one hell of a combination. Used properly it leads to the betterment of our country. I'm putting forward this statement because,
1. No religion in the world is against humanity.
2. No religion asks people to kill others to achieve something bigger.
3. It's the work of the religious heads that misinterpreted the essence of a religion.
Given a leader who is well-versed in his religion (whatever it may be), who is strong-minded, who can't be manipulated/misguided, our nation will become superpower within few years.

Religion is something which is perfect in its way, but politics is something which is never perfect in its way. People often mix up religion with politics and many a times political leaders go on wrong track and then it becomes a big issue. There's no need actually to elaborate a discussion related to politics. Because its full of corruption at least there's no corruption in religion.
So people who do such acts of creating a confusion among people and making a chaos and riots, belonging to politics are actually illiterates and are not bothered about the peace of nation.

All of our know India is a subcontinent with variable traditions and cultures. In that point of view, we have different religions each of them has different habitations. But also another important than that of India is democratic country too. Each religion has their own political environment to enroll their life in good manner. I support it but it each politician gets set the mind of their own religion responsibilities much more than their social work and doesn't knows the needs of other peoples around us. Especially in India, we cannot cease our traditions and politics.

Dear,
As per my thinking views I would like to express that politics is some what different then religion. If politics wanna include some that is only welfare practices don't involve such type of topic which create feeling of conflict among people, religion includes the faiths and believes of people for different culture and religions.
We should respect it whole heartedly. Religion is totally different from politics it has peoples hopes and love but politics is for India s economic development. So we should never combine these both in one container keep it seperate.

Hello Everyone,
In India, it is very common to mix politics with religion. The political party supports one particular religion for their vote bank. Here we can take the example of you. P. Where riots are the result of the mixing of politics and religion. Political party plays with the emotions of the people to get their votes under the name of religion/ minority. All this leads to the choosing a candidate who doesn't deserve the seat. We should try our best to give vote for the right candidate without influencing our decision because of religion.
Thank You.

Yes, religion should not be mixed with politics. It only gives rise to communalism in the country. Politics should respect all religion. A country like India where a lot of religion are there if any politicians support any particular religion it creates violence in the country and it cannot treat the people of different religion equal it become get biased which can create a sense of fear among the all other religion and it can also cause a riot in the country it hinders the growth of the country. So, at last, religion should not be mixed with politics.

Yes. Religion should not be mixed with Politics. Nowadays, most of the politicians are asking for votes in the name of religion or caste which should not be encouraged by the people. Voting should be done on the basis of effectiveness and character of the leader but not on religion/caste. People should change by not accepting money from the leaders as they are going to collect double or triple the money he spent on us if we choose him. First, We must change to change our country or else, we should die to watch all the magics done by our politicians.

Some questions many tend to ask is;
1) Should the two be mixed?
2) And if they are mixed, would it be like manna falling from heaven or a powerful poison which destroyed everything it touches?
Religion and politics must be kept separate. Religion is meant to unite people with similar beliefs into a moral community. Politics, on the other hand, is meant to unite all people of a region into a single community, regardless of personal beliefs and practices. Thus, when the two are mixed, the results are bound to be disastrous.
