Yess! I agree with the thing that religion and politics should not be mixed together. As of now that we are living in a democratic country that probably makes sense. But usually people finding the way to separate themselves such PEOPLE don't want better India. If we mixed politics and religion together then work according to that category and the other party not even getting a chance. Then it is like okay one party members system. We need multi-party member system in our country. It could not happen what the country begins.

Religion is sacred to every individual, and hence should not be made an issue. Religion & politics both should be kept away. Politicians should not exploit this weakness which otherwise is a defining trait of our country.

Such diplomacy is dividing our societies and resulting in a rise in fear & rage among people.

People should now the power of democracy & that there is no use of religion in governing a country. They should know that the person who is dividing us by the name of religion is not worthy of our votes. Religion, caste, colour, etc. Are worth nothing to the development of a nation. "Jai Hind".

After having read all the comments, I would like to say that just because we have witnessed only the ugly aspect of mixing religion with politics doesn't mean it cannot have a positive outlook.

At home and schools our parents, grandparents and teachers do narrate stories from religious texts to teach their children high moral values and make them know the difference between right and wrong.

Same way our leaders can use religious teachings to guide the masses to a peaceful and tolerant path or at least can give them a noble message ! if done in a correct way "mixing religion with politics" can actually prove to be a blessing in disguise.

Hi friends,

I agree this statement. If religion involved with politics it will be against human rights. Religion is valuable thing. So do not compare with politics.

Thanks for your reading.

Obviously, it's true that religion shouldn't be mixed with politics. But here we have to think the root cause of it. Is it because of the politicians who play with the religious sentiments of people? Or is it because of the people who set boundaries for themselves based on their religion and caste? Only when there is a point of conflict available for them, the politicians or anyone try to cash it. A political leader is just a representative of the society/his constituency. It is obvious that in our country each region is being dominated by a single religion or caste. Automatically, the leader thus elected will be of the dominant religion/caste and after the election, he serves his community the most. This will raise the social inequalities further and creates an unrest in the society.

All of our know India is a subcontinent with variable traditions and cultures. In that point of view, we have different religions each of them has different habitations. But also another important than that of India is democratic country too. Each religion has their own political environment to enroll their life in good manner. I support it but it each politician gets set the mind of their own religion responsibilities much more than their social work and doesn't knows the needs of other peoples around us. Especially in India, we cannot cease our traditions and politics.

Yes, I also think but in politics it is the most important thing that the people belonging to that caste will allow his her vote to his caste belonging category.

Hi.

Religion was born to give us the way of life. Different groups formed different modus operandi for their devotees. While politics is to manage the communities. Though both are supposed to be non-discriminatory and non-judgemental, corruption has taken over both. Today, both of these have become a way of serving one's own ends.

One with other or without other, the situation would still be same. Although I do believe that alone they are less disastrous than put together!

Yes, religion should not be mixed with politics. Rather we can say the politician can help all the religion equally grow in the country. As they have the powers, the resources, they can use it positively to maintain the unity and progress of the nation.

Nowadays Religion, Regional, and Caste Issues become very sensitive only because people had concentrated on this and they mainly Ignored Environment, Humanity they have forgotten about the basic requirements which fulfill human needs.

Now come to the point that.

Why are Politicians mixing Religion in politics?

Answer is yes they can mix, it's one type of business/technique they follow to increase their vote Bank.

So as a people we have major powers to elect them, but So many of us are busy in ignoring politics, and some of us are busy in Trusting those bull shit words spoken by politicians.

And why politicians are mixing religions means, we ignored basic needs, Environment, Humanity and we are busy with religions, Castes, For getting reservations. That's why as to gain our votes politicians are mixing this sensitive issues into the picture. So if you start concentrating on basic needs, Environment, Humanity. They may change.

Thanks,

Jai HIND.
