Nowadays Religion, Regional, and Caste Issues become very sensitive only because people had concentrated on this and they mainly Ignored Environment, Humanity they have forgotten about the basic requirements which fulfill human needs.
Now come to the point that.
Why are Politicians mixing Religion in politics?
Answer is yes they can mix, it's one type of business/technique they follow to increase their vote Bank.
So as a people we have major powers to elect them, but So many of us are busy in ignoring politics, and some of us are busy in Trusting those bull shit words spoken by politicians.
And why politicians are mixing religions means, we ignored basic needs, Environment, Humanity and we are busy with religions, Castes, For getting reservations. That's why as to gain our votes politicians are mixing this sensitive issues into the picture. So if you start concentrating on basic needs, Environment, Humanity. They may change.
Thanks,
Jai HIND.

In Iran religion and politics is mixed with religion and it is the best country in middle east.
It is the third country in engineering and the 14th country in medicine.
They proved that its possible to manage a country with religion.
They are an Islamic country. They believe that CHRISTIANITY is week and it's unable to manage a country but Islam is not.

By responding to the arguments of people who claim that politics is separate from religion, it will be proven that this cannot be the case and that religion is part and parcel of politics. To those who say that the essence of politics and the essence of religion are at odds and for this reason they cannot be combined, the following can be said: Religious politics means the management of a society based upon the values and criterion of religion, in order that the society reaches wholeness and true balance; there does not exist any logical contradictions in the issue of religious politics.
In response to the argument that religious laws are matters that are "on occasion", it must be stated that this is not only applicable to religion or the precepts of religion in the political arena, but it applies to every body of laws which is in existence (all of these are based on circumstances and the situation at hand).
Also, in response to the argument that religion is an unchangeable matter and the world and its politics are always changing, and therefore, an unchangeable body is unable to manage something which is always in a state of change, it is said that: religion and this world both possess changeable and non-changeable aspects, and each part of religion has to do with its corresponding part of worldly matters. In relation to those who say that Islamic jurisprudential management is inefficient or incompetent, it must be said that Islam takes into consideration all changing and nonchanging aspects of individual and social life and guides people to a correct way of life with all of these aspects factored in. The existence of the jurisprudential method, which is the standard way of understanding religion, provides and ensures the correct understanding of this religion. In addition, it opens the possibility of answering new questions which come about.

They should because they go together hand in hand.
It is written that the governments of the world would be on the shoulders of Christ and that he would rule forever with his commandments, laws, and statutes. A kingdom without an established foundation is a kingdom that will not stand.

Obviously, it's true that religion shouldn't be mixed with politics. But here we have to think the root cause of it. Is it because of the politicians who play with the religious sentiments of people? Or is it because of the people who set boundaries for themselves based on their religion and caste? Only when there is a point of conflict available for them, the politicians or anyone try to cash it. A political leader is just a representative of the society/his constituency. It is obvious that in our country each region is being dominated by a single religion or caste. Automatically, the leader thus elected will be of the dominant religion/caste and after the election, he serves his community the most. This will raise the social inequalities further and creates an unrest in the society.

Religion should not be mixed with politics as this two things are different things politics is the way through which we are realising our duties towards our nation. Religion means a way to link ourselves with god. If politics and religion will be mixed then it will lead to discrimination.

I think religion should not be mixed with politics, because many deference religious people live in a country, so according to me, the position should.
Be selected a right person, who have experience and good knowledge about it, not to be selected as a religion basis. Its great example is separation. Pakistan of India.

No. Religion and politics should not be mixed. India, as we all know, is a secularism democracy and is blessed with diverse, cultures and traditions and religions. But I think it's easier said than done. Since recent times, most politicians including the present ruling, I feel takes advantage of the majority and minority groups. In my opinion, since India is a secular country, all religions must be given the equal opportunity to express their thoughts and people or politicians of one country should not be allowed to exploit the others (THIS WAS MY FIRST THOUGHT BUT. ).
On the other hand, if you think about it, some people see untouchability and 'honor killings' as part of a custom or religion, certain groups are publicly avoided and are never allowed huge promotions in the economic sector. (There are many more instances I learned in Grade 8 but right now, I forgot). In such cases, I feel politics can and should interfere to ensure that everyone is content.

I think including or even mixing religion with caste is a very cheap way of getting votes from a majority of people. Since politicians look for their benefit rather than the benefit of the people, casteism is a common way which may bring votes but not notes (money).

According to me, today's topic is very sensible and beneficial for our country. During election period, many politicians came with religion issues. They start representing a religion. Start giving promises for vote. We should not elect such a representative. We should not support him or her because of greed. We should keep in mind terrorists unite when religion divides. So never mix religion with politics.
