I think that only to form a committee or think about a reform is not a solution. But actually the implementation is more important and for perfect implementation the public involvement is very necessary.
Lets consider the lokpal bill struggle, every one knows that it is very important bill for our country and its implementation will surely help to reduce the corruption but how many common public was present for actual struggle from 1. 25 billion population.
So in-short I am saying that reforms have to grow up and its possible only from every one contribution.

So called reformers are mushrooming nowadays the true reformer should be just like vivekanand, bhagat singh and so on, not like as we see today to be in just for limelight if one reforms then its not the effective matter. Govt. Is needing character.
Based, ideal, noble, leaders who can give even their life on the name of country.

Hi friends, I read all of your comments and I have some points to discuss about. Ofcourse, citizens must be responsible to limit their usage of oil and must take neccessry steps. But the increase in price of every item also depends on political parties. These political leaders involve in any land grabbing and other scams which in turn result in loss of money in government savings. Inorder to compensate for this loss, government in turn draw money from its citizens by imposing high prices for oil, food materials and other neccessary commodities.
If this continues, then there is no use even if the citizens take neccessary measures. So both the citizens and the government Should work together to solve the issue of oil price hike.

See, reformation is must. The body of any present structure is based upon some assumptions and expediences. And the body developed at beginning. So as time changes thoughts of people changes and new technology and experiences developed. And this reformations make the structure more efficiently and more effectively. So reformation's role is very important to any structure.

Yes, reforms needs to grow up in India. At this point of time, when India's GDP figure is declining to about 7%, reform process need to fasten up. Centr govt. and State govts. need to form comman view for the implementation of GST. Companies Bill and Direct Tax code should be passed in upcoming budget session to replace very old Companies Act, 1956 and Income Tax Act, 1961 respectively. Pension bill and Jan lokpal bill n also other pending bills which are pending in parliament from many last session need to get pass. The time has come now for second round of economic and social reforms to be implemented so that now our India can be called "Developed" country instead of Developing country.

We have great experience of reforms made in 1991 by government of that time and our country is growing 8% per year and this is leading economy after china in world. So reforms should be a part.
Of governments vision but only reform is not the solution of the problems today country is suffering from. So some additional steps must be taken by the government with economic reforms and I think education, Rural Area, Agriculture needs so much reform. Some states like Utter Pradesh, madhya pradesh, Bihar and all north east should take reforms in their Industrial and human resource policies. Our Sport system also needs a reform in its structure and activities. So as I think reforms are necessary part for growth of every section of society.

I would like to add that there is a rising need for several reforms that must be looked into and we need all the common citizens to rise up and bring into motion the reforms to be passed. According to the rule of law in India, if majority of people are in favour of a reform to be passed by the court, the supreme court can do so. I would like to raise the example of police reforms as it is very important to know that ever since the constitution was amended, the police rules and laws have been the same since 1960. The police are constantly under political pressure and corruption. They are overworked and have very less wages and no proper facilities are provided for the police men's families. We need to stand up for our country's police force as they are never allowed to form any union or speak up for themselves. Thus reforms need to grow up!
