Rapists should be given Death Sentence

Living in a country that provides equal laws and rights for both men and women why it's only women who are advised to not go out at night while men can walk out freely wherever they want?

Why there is a restriction on women not to wear specific clothes?

And after accepting all these restrictions women are still not safe.

Women aren't safe in their own homes.

Uncles, father's friends, old grandfather, neighbour, street vendor, cab drivers, Rikshawala these predators can be anywhere and nowadays it can be a Father too.

After being harassed there is always a little chance/time when a girl can inform anyone close or a helpline number but they're her relatives or fear of the society aunties speaking about her and sometimes even parents don't support them.

And once that predator knows she's harmless and she can't do anything or speak up he commits assault and these brutal rape cases happen.

After this the parents may or may not support her, she might or might not inform them parents might or might not inform the police, and after all this police might or might not arrest the culprit based on his wealth, his fame and status, his political connections and most of the cases bribe can also work👍.

The Culprit will be free and have no regrets but is confident that he'll repeat those things and will be free again like that also is filled with anger and would take revenge on that girl might kill her.

So basically if she'll inform she's in danger and if she doesn't he'd torture and rape her every day.

And now that there's no outcome of the rapist action he'd do the same things with other girls and so form massive web with other rapists and these cases will never come out until a big case emerges such as Nirbhaya.

There are many Nirbhayas in India who are mute and might be mute in future also.

Please help out these girls if you know any she's not only physically but mentally getting assaulted and most of the time these are little girls who don't even know what's harassment and assault and teenagers.

These rapists have a little daughter in their own home but commit this crime and might do it with them drunk. Such people do not belong to anyone even their family members.

And India is a populous country and these people from the backward class commit these crimes and no serious action take place and so more people like them get bold and do these sins when a group of friends combine drunk this is so common and if they're rich it's no serious issue few months in prison, some money and free for revenge.

In other countries people are more educated they're aware of the consequences after these cases, they know the history of these cases and think before doing anything like this.

A low literacy rate justifies these cases and so education is important, informing the students about the law is important but forming fear in the citizen of the outcome of this act would for sure reduce the number of rapes in our country (especially in backward or weaker sections of India).

The Predator would think twice and the Victim could terrorize or alarm him of the consequences he'd face.

And Thus I SUPPORT HANG TILL DEATH THE RAPISTS.

My dear friend Rana you shouldn't give such type of comments as only the women has to become strong or she has to take care of herself like dont go to this or that places its really disappointing what you said.



This is not the solution for any crime to be inside your home or learn Karate or boxing all womens cant do that man! If we really want to do some we should educate people like its not just having sex with the lady its more than a murder because after murder your life end there itself but rape is something which is a black chapter in that girl's or lady's life. Whole life she has to suffer for that even though she didn't attempt any crime, but she has to take full life punishment.



In my opinion Death sentence is the only way by which we can make fear in the rapist heart or mind. If its not there they will continue this because they know nothing will happen to them, after sometime they will get releif and come back to thier normal life, but don't you think this person spoil a innocent person's life and still he is roaming in our society without any guilt and fear between us.



One more thing if terrorist attacks our country what will do we all not come out of the house because they will kill us or we have make same fear in thier mind that if they do so even they will get killed by justice and again they dont have that much courage to come and see towards our country only.



Something like that only we have to do for these rapists also then only we can stop them otherwise it will increase day by day.

Rape the more word sound simple the more painful it is to suffer after one gets through this situation. It deprives the girl who has been raped from their normal life.

And their life becomes not better than a curse to her. In order to stop this dangerous the government should actually take the death sentence to the criminal involved in such heinous crime. This is the only way by which one will think a hundred time before committing this for it will ask for one's life which I don't think one would try to loose. For the life is a precious thing to everyone. For until and unless they are given the death sentence they will continue to have the power to spoil another life once he gets out of his punishment and the crime will continue to stay as long as our society will exist. So to put an end to it and uplift the life of the woman it should be removed right from it root by applying punishment as the death sentence.

Well according to me giving death sentence is not the ultimate end. If we are doing this it will not end up such rape cases n all. We should rather think of removing the cause then the after effects. We should do something which can help us make such people guilty instead of giving them death sentence. Even Mr.Rana has a point, no harm in taking precautions.



we should understand the cause first before reacting in any way,one big reason is a girl herself,her exposing clothing,over frank nature with friends can lead to increase in such traumas.



Even in a survey conducted,it is found that,around 70%+ of rape cases are happening because of western or over exposed clothing. And for the remaining % of cases,the accused should be given a worst punishment then a death sentence,because in my point of view,death sentence is quite a easy punishment for the accused.

I don't think that "DEATH SENTENCE" is the only solution to reduce these crimes, because even if we are proceeding with this, I think this may not take any change in society, those persons who have such kinds of thoughts, are committing rape. So, What I actually want to say is that we can't change the mindset of the elder people, but we can teach the children right, if we try to teach them what is good and what is bad as well as how the society was, what is happening in the society, as a teacher, as a lecture, as a professor, have the responsibility to educate them in the colleges, schools along with the academics, somewhat it may helpful. I'm not sure, this will stop these crimes, but may change will happen.

I agree that rapists should be given death sentence. How dare those people to do such a inhuman activity. In some foreign countries people doing crimes like this are spot punished. But here just few years of punishment or some fine only. Will this change their mind? Some friends said mostly girls are responsible for initiating such traumas. Ok let it be one reason. Then how can we blame small school girls being given sexual harrassment by some persons. Do they wear dress in awkward manner? do they talk badly? they even don't know spelling for sex. Many times we heared in new about this. The only punishment that can be given to them is death. No one should show pity on those people.

No guys, death is not the only way to give punishment to a rapist. In my opinion there are several other ways by which we can stop such traumas. I think that in such cases girls are 60% responsible for what happens to them. The dressing sense of girls nowadays has crossed every limits and the type of fashion what girls are adopting today can't be ignored and everything what girls are doing today is just to maintain the high society (specially girls from middle class family). I'm not saying that girls are only responsible but they can save them from such situation as Rana and Veena has already explained.

There is nothing to discuss on this topic because honestly I feel that a rapist should be given death penalty or life imprisonment or a more painful punishment. We can only talk about it but no one can really feel the pain what those people had, who has been victim of such dreadful crime. And those words that "women should be stronger" or "they should not go to unsafe places"these are all meaningless because in a country where men and women are treated equally then what these words mean?. For me rape is a dreadful crime and the guilty should be given DEATH PENALTY.

Yeah; I Quite agree with Rana. Because death sentence is not the ultimate way to overcome the rape problem. It is said "HATE THE CRIME NOT THE CRIMINALS". So that we should think about the solutions not about the death punishments. Results we can constitute a beautiful society.

It is true that rape is a hardest crime. But it is not the ultimate punishment. So, we can punish the rapist in such a way that it gives profit to the country and the economy. For example a rapist should be used for the cleaning of roads all the life.

Yes, I agree with swati to some extent. Women don't need to get trained on karate etc. But death sentence is not the right punishment, because the culprit has to know the mistake he has committed and should be punished severely, very horribly that he should feel even death is better than punishment.



He should be held at jail for life time. And this way of punishment should be campaigned in all public places by the government so that every one fears of committing that kind of mistake.
