No need to ban polythene bags because polythene bags are 100% recyclable to fuels for which we have established a company to do it.

It is very easy to say that we should ban plastic. But do we realise that we are surrounded by plastic? Mobile phones bodies, car dashboard, packaged food, medical equipment etc are all made of plastic because of their low-cost long durability and high volume manufacturing. We use plastic each and every single day through various products. So, replacing it will be extremely challenging. Thanks all.

Hi, I am Rajender.
In my view, polyethene is non-decomposable, and over 100 years take to mix in soil.
In city's animals taking plastic as their food, this leads to animal death.
But here at the same time, we can observe that plastic bags are cheep and carrying capacity is high.
And we are using plastics in all fields. Now it is may not possible to banned completely but by taking precautions we can reduce the usage of plastics.
For example, reusing single bag for many times. And recycle the old bags.

Polythene bags are very easy to carry our purchased goods.
It is our part of our modern lives.
If we are banning the polythene bags many employees will lose job.
Because banning the polyethene bags there will use cotton bags then many industries will be started and it leads to deforestation.
Polythene bags can recycle melting the plastic and used for the road.
The roads will be strong.

In my opinion, the polythene bags should not be banned.
As we all know that plastics bags are very easy to use, more strength than paper bags or anything.
I know, it's very harmful for air, soil, water and also for animal but we have no option.
But we can reuse these bags much time. The government should make a system like if you sell the useless plastic to the government they will pay you for this.
Thank you.

I think there should be a complete ban on using of plastic bags because plastic bags are one of the most destructive material for our environment as it takes thousands of years to decompose. Plastic bag can be replaced by many other alternatives such as jute and cloth bags. Plastic bags create a large amount of waste.

Hi everybody,
I think polyethene must be banned as recently I saw an incident just front of me it was too much scary because many individuals of society found a half dead on the road and cause was polyethene stuck in his throat it choked up his breath during having some chapati inside it. On the other hand, we keep on watching lot of news, posts on social media that how much dangerous it is for our pets directly and indirectly for us too.

Polyethylene ban is one of the major concern in the world. We all know that a million tonnes of poly wastes are being disposed of every day. These are not biodegradable and produce harm to our environment and living animals as well.
At the same time, we should consider the need of polyethylene. So sudden ban of polyethylene wouldn't be a healthy option. Instead of that, we must think about eco-friendly biodegradable bags and paper bags as well. Thus once we assure the availabilities and alternative options government can go ahead with polyethylene ban.

Yes, polythene must be banned because polythene is very harmful for our environment. Polythene is not Eco-friendly and it is non-biodegradable so we all use paper bags and biodegradable bags. One more thing is that when plastic mix with soil than it degrade the quality of soil.

Since the dawn of our civilisation, man has a developed a number of tools and implements to make his life easy on planet earth. One such useful invention is that of plastic and to be more specific that of polythene bags. The invention of plastic has evolved the whole outlook of industrial output.
Though the use of plastic and polythene bags has become a part and parcel of our day to day life, yet we cannot ignore the ill effects of it. Besides the various environmental issues which such products pose, there are various health issues involved which cannot be overlooked.
Therefore such bags should be banned completely. It will be difficult to get rid of it initially but in order to discontinue its use, some alternative remedy by way of environmental friendly bags should be invested.
Moreover governmental agencies and NGO's can work a great deal in spreading awareness about the harmful effects of poly-bags and should encourage people to switch to environmental friendly bags. In order to maintain ecological balance such steps should be taken fast.
