Yes, polythene bags should be banned. They do serious harm to our environment. These bags takes many years to degrade and hence pollute our environment. These bags can not be burnt because they increase air pollution. Therefore, there is no way except to ban them. There is a going concern to save our environment all around the world. We should take each and every step to save our environment. Hence, polythene bags should be banned. Alternative step should be taken to overcome the ban of polythene bags. We can use paper bags in place of polythene bags.

Thank you.

Yes, the polythene bag must be banned because polythene bags we are used in many ways the bag quality below 40 micron doesn't. Recycle. We can use nonwoven bags instead of polythene bags. The bags are available in our country. Please avoid polythene bags. Save the environment and save the nation.

According to me, polythene must be banned because it causes unnecessary tension. Polythene bags are non-bio degradable, so they cannot be reused. Polythene bags are used and thrown in the dustbin and it is swallowed by the animals, which cause a health issue for them. Animals are also important species in the earth. So we have to protect the animals. Instead of polythene bags, we can use paper bags, which do not cause any damage to us. If polyethene bags burn, their smoke is very dangerous. So I request everyone not use polythene bags. It must be banned.

Hi Friends,

In my point of view, polythene bags are not be degraded easily. It takes more years to degrade a plastics. So we cannot save a rain water. Because we putting a plastics in the land, it can resist the water on it. So it cannot increases the ground water level, it leads to insufficient of drinking water.

Of course, this is not the question to be asked that is it necessary to eradicate the polythene bags from the market. From quite a time the problems arising due to plastic bags have been seen. These are taking a gigantic shape day by day. Floods in the cities due to the heavy rains, stray animals choking to death due to consumption of poly bags, poisonous fumes evolving in the environment due to the burning of the bags, the soil becoming less fertile due to the dumping of these poly bags and many more health hazards which are really concerning and need to be taken care of. What alternatives do we have? yes, of course, we have many alternatives, like using paper bags, while going for shopping carrying a bag which can ultimately carry our things and much more.

1. Plastic bags are cheap but it is harmful to the atmosphere. Produces more pollution.
2. It is a non-renewable resource and takes 1000 years to complete degrade.
3. Polythene causes a death of animals like cow and goats because it chocks the respiratory system.

Hi friends this is Vali.

Well, a plastic bag is made up of polyethylene which is a non-renewable source. As it takes more than 100 years to degrade a normal polythene bag which is made up of 40microns our government has made a rule that all plastic bags should be made below 30microns but due its thickness as a major problem which not suitable to carry more than 5kg our govt had again changed the limit of microns from 30 to 40. When we talk about his advantages it was mainly used to carry something and to keep dry & fresh on the other side of the coin it has a large number of disadvantages like.

1. It becomes as a hanging rope to animals those who swallow it along with grass.

2. A variety of marine life has vanished due to the dumping of plastic bags in oceans which do not allow to mix oxygen with water.

3. The percentage of greenhouse gas has been increasing from our day to day life.

If we continue the way we using plastic there will deficiency of oxygen levels for our future generations.

So by comparing all aspects, it is better to ban the usage of plastic instead we have to increase the usage of paper bags in the place of plastic bags.

THANK You.

Hai guys!

The problems arise with Polythene bags is:.

1. It decreases the underground water levels because the used bags forms a layer on the earth surface.

2. These bags are very harmful to the animals.

As they ate the eatables with polythene covers.

Polythene covers also sometimes may useful for us in different ways like, while preserving the vegetables, fruits etc.

So, here my point is we need take strict measures on the usage of polythene bags but, we can't completely ban them.
