Ban of polythene bags is really very necessary because it has so many bad effects in environment and ecosystem:-

1) It is non-biodegradable.

2) If it us burnt, it releases harmful and toxic gases which can cause lung problems and even envoke cancer cells.

3) If it is dumped on land then the soil there will become infertile as its chemicals will kill essential microorganisms and if any animals like cows, dogs consumes it then they may die.

3) If polythenes are dumped in water bodies then they cause the death of aquatic flora and fauna.

So, polythene bags must be banned.

Instead of them jute bags can be used.

However now a days many biodegradable plastics are invented our government should look forward for using them.

Thank you.

Hello friends, in my point of view, polythene bags must be banned and government should make strict law and put fine in using of polythene bags. Because they are non decomposable and take upto 1000years to decompose. They pollute our environment. They are dangerous for animals because they choke the respiratory system. So polythene bags should be banned.

Hi, Everybody,

As my point of view, polythene should be banned by Indian government. And some laws must be enacted against the use of polythene. Today we are using polythene freely but on same place, we must know the harms of using polythene. We should use jute or cotton bags, it will beneficial for all environment, people health and as well as economy. USE of jute and cotton's bags will provide trade to local people and it will be the cheap source in place of polythene and will be environmental friendly.

USE of these bags helps us to reduce the soil, water and air pollution.

Finally, I want to say one thing that it depends on us that we really wants to save our environment as well as ourselves or we will wait for any miracle who will eradicate this great pollution problem.

I believe polyethene bags should be banned because it is not decomposed in earth and it takes more time to decompose. Recently I heard one news in television, some workers are ground these polyethene bags and it is mixed with rice by this we attack with so many diseases. Suppose these are burned in the atmosphere, it produces pollution by this way ozone get damage.

A single plastic bag can take up to 1000 years to decay completely which makes the bags stay in environments longer. More and more people around the world are getting aware of environmental issues surrounding plastic bags.

1. Plastic bags is cheap but it is harmful to atmosphere. Produces more pollution.

2. It is non-renewable resource and takes 1000 years to complete degrade.

3 Polythene causes death of animals like cow and goats because it chocks the respiratory system.

Polythene bags must be banned as the waste management not up to the mark and it is not a biodegradable waste. Many animals consume plastic which leads to death. For the benefit of our upcoming generation we should lower or completely eliminate the use of plastic bags, it is also believed that there will be plastics all around us if we keep on the same pace. Sikkim has banned polythene bags years ago and has moved towards using paper bags which is eco-friendly. This should be an inspiration for all of us and we should follow the same.

In my opinion, the polyethene bags should not be banned.

As we all know that polyethene bags are very superior as compared to the paper bags and also they have good holding capacity than paper bags. Also, the polyethene bags are used for various purposes. We can use them in rainy season also. And one of the major things is that if the polythene bags are banned it leads to shutting down of the companies and causes unemployment. Also with the new innovations, it can be possible to recycle the polyethene and also it has low cost of production.

Yes, polythene bags must be ban. From lower class, we study that polyethene are NONBIODIHREDABLEand hence not eco-friendly with environment. So it must be banned.

Another reason fot bann that many ciws near strss eat them supposing their food. And result of this they doe. It chokes the drains and causes hygine problem to o.

Also things kept in polythene get toxicate due to harmful vhemicals. During manufacture it causes air pollution too.

I think the above points are suffecient for complete ban of polythene.

THANK YOU!
