In my opinion, I don't think polythene bags should be banned. According to me it's not the polythene bags which are harmful to the environment but the lack of awareness among the people for disposing it properly and the poor management in the society which lead to harming the environment. If we generate awareness among the people for proper disposal of plastics into dustbins and then if these plastics are properly recycled then what's wrong with this. And we know how handy and easier it is to carry plastic bags and also economic and better alternative for lower class people.

In my opinion, polythene should be banned. Now-a-days the plastics play an major role were in cities most of them using the plastics as the bag for shopping or carrying some objects. Some of the people buying the hot food products in the plastics so that may cause cancer to the person who is eating the food, and basically the animals on the cities were taking the plastics as the food so that are stuck in the throat, etc So the polythene cannot be banned completely It should be reduced step by step. So mostly avoid the polythene and make the environment Neat and clean.

Hello everyone,
In my point of view, first of all people should avoid using polythene. Because polythene is not good for our environment. I do not say that polythene should be completely banned. Nowadays we use so much polythene so we can not completely be banned but slowly we could use less polythene can not mix with soils. And it creates CH4 that is not good for environment. Polythene can be recycled.

I think polythene bag are banned we know that it may harmfull to the environment it can not mix with soil so faster. Continue use of polythene will put in big trouble in future, instead of polythene we have alternative then why to use polythene.

According to me,
Polythene may not be banned.
Because it is used for many work and used in industrial area it gives to employment that's why polythene should not be banned.
But we are reduced the consuming captivity just like reuse and recycling.

Hi, I am Rajender.
In my view, polyethene is non-decomposable, and over 100 years take to mix in soil.
In city's animals taking plastic as their food, this leads to animal death.
But here at the same time, we can observe that plastic bags are cheep and carrying capacity is high.
And we are using plastics in all fields. Now it is may not possible to banned completely but by taking precautions we can reduce the usage of plastics.
For example, reusing single bag for many times. And recycle the old bags.

Polythene bags must be banned as they are non-biodegradable and when burnt harmful gases such as greenhouse gases are produced which are responsible for global warming (which causes the increase in temperature of earth by forming a blanket of gases which trap sunlight) and also marine life is very much affected by the plastic fragments like polythene floating in water bodies and sometimes fishes and birds mistook as food and that got struck in throat or effects the digestive system and almost 8 million tons of plastic gets floated in water bodies every year and when plastic bags are drained into gutters they gets into pieces and from there they get into oceans and their the marine ecosystem gets affected and researchers have found plastic fragments in large amount of water animals like fishes which are consumed by humans thus the whole ecosystem getting affected.

Yes, polythene bags must be ban. From lower class, we study that polyethene are NONBIODIHREDABLEand hence not eco-friendly with environment. So it must be banned.
Another reason fot bann that many ciws near strss eat them supposing their food. And result of this they doe. It chokes the drains and causes hygine problem to o.
Also things kept in polythene get toxicate due to harmful vhemicals. During manufacture it causes air pollution too.
I think the above points are suffecient for complete ban of polythene.
THANK YOU!

In my opinion, the polyethene bags should not be banned.
As we all know that polyethene bags are very superior as compared to the paper bags and also they have good holding capacity than paper bags. Also, the polyethene bags are used for various purposes. We can use them in rainy season also. And one of the major things is that if the polythene bags are banned it leads to shutting down of the companies and causes unemployment. Also with the new innovations, it can be possible to recycle the polyethene and also it has low cost of production.

Polythene bags must be banned as the waste management not up to the mark and it is not a biodegradable waste. Many animals consume plastic which leads to death. For the benefit of our upcoming generation we should lower or completely eliminate the use of plastic bags, it is also believed that there will be plastics all around us if we keep on the same pace. Sikkim has banned polythene bags years ago and has moved towards using paper bags which is eco-friendly. This should be an inspiration for all of us and we should follow the same.
