Now we have two elections. State government and central government. When it reduces to one there is only one leader for 28 states. So the leader will take more and more responsibilities to each state. It's maybe a tough job to a leader. I think the leader cannot approach all state equally. We can not predict MAY BE a well smart and highly intelligent person can easily manage? In my opinion, one India, one election is difficult.

One India one election concept is I think quite difficult in the country like India considering its huge and growing population but there will be pro of the same if implemented.
Pros : The increasing no of political parties will be shut off and only few will be there that will prevent us from various political threats such as corruption and all.
Cons : Difficult handle the situations in the country as of now instead o having such a different elections and leaders not helping anymore, As there are many states in India the leader elected somewhat will consider a particular state greater than others, etc.
The Conclusion is it cannot be implemented in our country.

It is a good concept but implementing it in India is almost impossible because India is a huge country being 2nd largest in population. The state government of every state helps in solving problems like drainage agriculture etc. If one election pattern is followed then all this petty work would also put a pressure on the central govt which may hinder other important work of the central govt and people would also face difficulty in getting justice as mentioned above as the matters would straight away go to central govt which also has taken after the nation overall. So this would create difficulty in managing and controlling a country.

The best I think is in INDIA itself, I mean why we need to learn from other countries when our state wise population is more than compared to them stand alone. Its Uttar Pradesh, how they do it, simple! in stages.
So one election in INDIA is totally possible. We just have to do it in stages, not one day. It will change the country for better.

Being the 7th largest country in the world and 2nd largest by population, I think it will be very difficult to implement One Election in India. It will surely be a good decision in geographically smaller countries. As if Government gets success in implementing it, then this step will save a huge amount of money which is used in holding elections in different states.

I think that for India, it is very difficult because India has population approx 130 crores. If there is no state then how will we able to solve problem effectively that is handled by state government. If we have small problem like drainage problem and other small issue so we can not able solve as soon as possible that state government is easily handled.
One biggest problem is that Indian constitution is a written constitution. So how our government change this policy. It is totally against our constitution.

From my point of view, "One India One Election" it is quite difficult to implement as India is a big country and it is very difficult to manage a huge country. We can't run to central for small disputes going within a state which must be solved by the state under the concerned person. Dictatorship will create a negative impact on the functioning of government.

According to me, 'one India one Election' is possible in India but I would like to inform you that every thing has some Pros and some Cons. Positivity is that its save money which fluid in an election like water and central government easy to handle country by divide all departments. But India is huge country and every state has different mindset so sometimes it's not working. I wish for one India one Election.

Hi.
I am malatesh in my view, It is right decision to grow our country.
One India one election means both state and Central govt election happened same time.
Pros:
When happened both state and Central govt election suddenly expenses was comes down in such case that amount we can invest in economic growth for our country.
Cons:
India currently having more than 125 crores population so it very hard to handle each and every place in election time.

Hello Friends,
I am very happy to know about your views towards this thought. I believe that it would be best to have One India One Election but as an individual it's hard to accept it. Because India is demographically large country. There are many pros and cons it has especially money we use for such elections. Yes we would save money by implementing it but many people those who are not economically and financially strong even not much knowledge they have so certainly they would suffer alot for every things like justice. We might get large help from One India One Election and can save money but if large number of people gets injustice what we would with that money, People those who who work for their survival would hardly get benefit from it. As an alternative I believe that to avoid the expense and time on elections our Govt should start Online Voting system. They can implement it and even we increase the voter too from anywhere by giving rights to vote from any state or country to his particular region. We all know that we have had an average of 70% voting but we can increase it to 90% if we would start online voting system. We would save money either. If a person has rights to votes for his particular leader from any of the states or country he stays then we would get a right leader and also it would be for great cause.
But One India One Election would be very hard for ordinary man.
Thanks & Regards,
Akansha Nigam.
