The election is the backbone of Democracy. My opinion is one election and one India is very difficult because there are 28 states in India and 8 union territories. That is not managed by one government in all the states. It's hard to imagine conducting one election in India.

Being the 7th largest country in the world and 2nd largest by population, I think it will be very difficult to implement One Election in India. It will surely be a good decision in geographically smaller countries. As if Government gets success in implementing it, then this step will save a huge amount of money which is used in holding elections in different states.

From my point of view, "One India One Election" it is quite difficult to implement as India is a big country and it is very difficult to manage a huge country. We can't run to central for small disputes going within a state which must be solved by the state under the concerned person. Dictatorship will create a negative impact on the functioning of government.

The election is the backbone of Democracy. This scheme is not new to our country, Simultaneously election means giving a single vote for both the RajyaSabha election and state assembly election on the same day.
I'm against this system,
To conduct elections simultaneously we will have to make changes or amendments to the constitution of India.
The frequent election will bring politicians back to the public frequently, whereas cutting elections will make them lazy.
If a political party loses power or the minister dies at the midterm of their rule, we can re-conduct the election easily through this current system but it is quite difficult in a simultaneous election system.
Although, this system is a step to scam.

India is one of the most developing countries.
Pros: -> India will get full of freedom and to make easy sources will get easier. Because of the one time election no currency transfer and nothing will happen like every five years. To know who will be a perfect person to stand in the election.
Cons:-> City will develop but the village will not.

All the people failed to understand one India one election meaning. It basically means holding of the elections of the centre and the state together.

Hello friends, in my opinion one nation one election is not a better idea. Because if we are watching only the advantage of it, but we are not focusing on the some loss of it, during one election many resignal parties may be loss their existence in the flow of national parties. Because national parties majority is more than resignal parties. In 1966-67 elections this process has used but after result election commission change this decision. So we want to make better this present election system we require to do some new change an awareness of people.

Hi.
I am Nitin.
I think there should be one India one election. Because on every election our country spends huge amount of money. If the elections are taken at one time, there will be great saving of money. And both central and state government will have same time for working and there will be good correlation between the governments.

Hi all,
In my view, one India one election is a greate idea. One India one election means both centre and state elections conducted at one time.
In India, every year 5-6 state elections are going on at that time the central government put concentration on those states for campaigning and they waste lots of government money.
And one more point, for example, the implementation of GST the BJP government take 3 years for implementation because they don't have a full majority in Rajyasabha. If one India one election is possible the government which form in central they have full majority in both Lok sabha and Rajyasabha then they can easily implement the god policies.

I think the election for Lok Sabha and Rajyapal sabha should be in one particular time only. This will save lots of Efforts, time and Money. And it will also save 1 public holiday.
But the con is that Parties might appear once in 4 years and Opposition party might not contribute to anything.
But I think we should try this system and if not applicable then we should move forward to another.
What if the Winning party might do Good work?
