Definition of a Nice guys may not always say about the work they do or how they do. It may also define the nature of the person. It may also say about attitude or behaviour of person towards others. Coming to finishing last it may be like this "the nice person is known for longer time i.e., the people speaks about nice person even after their death ".

Recall the story of tortoise and rabbit. As rabbit lose the race overconfidence but tortoise was a nice guy. Hmmm. People honest, work in proper manner and idea to complete work in a "kind" way are nice guys. Time is not a measure in their dictionary but work completion with the more effective outcome is their highest measure.
So they finish last.

Actually nice guys do their work with proper planning and thinking. So there planning may take time. But we all know that proper planning means half of the work has done already. But after planning they try to do there work as fast as they can. So nice guys are not finishing last at all rather they want to do it first and be an example to others.

"Nice guys finish last" it's sometimes true but not always. We all know that first impression is the best impression. If a nice boy loose the first chance then that impression goes to the one who begins first. For example take a elocution competition if a nice boy wants to finish first otherwise his topic may be told by other person.

Intelligent people (nice guys ) if they do not the exact idea about the topic , then they wait for others to respond. In the mean while he grap or extract some points based on that . If not possible he will conclude the discussion. But actually if they are quite familiar with topic they will start at 3rd or 4th position out 7 peoples .

Obviously, Nice guys finish last. Because they are concentrating each and every step on their work carefully. So, they get the first position but finish last. And also they will focus on how to overcome the upcoming problems in their situations. So they get the first position.

Yes, I agree with the statement that "NICE GUYS FINISH LAST. "Generally, in most of the cases, nice guys finish late but not late. They finish it late to make the work more effective and interesting.
Even though they are late to work they feel happy to discover something new to the society within time.

Like the "nice guy, " the "people-pleaser" will suppress their own needs in order to satisfy the perceived needs of others. However, while the nice guy syndrome was clearly elaborated as a men-specific problem, the "disease to please" focuses more on women who can have very similar behavior patterns.

In my views a nice always wants to make everything with perfections and also in time limit or even first. They always tries to do take the advantages of leading but with perfection. Going first doesn't assure the leadership that's why they some time wait for right time and perfection to come.

Compare with others nice guys usually taking some extra time to finish their works. The fellow who is going to talk at last had chance to know different views of other peoples. So he can put up nice points which is different from others.
