Necessity of Women Quota Bill for Women Empowerment

No reservation can ever help any section of the society to gain empowerment. Status of backward classes still is the example of this policy. Even after 67 years of adopting the Constitution, they are still backward classes in fact now more politics is played on their account. If you actually want to empower any section, basic ground work os required. The inclusion of and improvement in the mindset of men (particularly) is also needed. Intellectually and emotionally both genders are very similar. Care, love, empathy, nourishing nature, sensitivity, patience, resilience is there in men as well. They are just never required to explore this side of themselves as many women are asked and made to feel obligated to possess such qualities. At the time of birth, boys and girls are completely similar. Giving them similar values is necessary to develop a society where security and equality prevails.

Women Quota bill will reserve 33% of seats in parliament and state legislatures. This bill will provide a chance for women to get a higher post in the society and make them feel free but this alone cannot help women empowerment. There is a saying that "women power does not require freedom, but freedom and channelization". Therefore women certain actions to be taken to educate them, protect their dignity.

Women quota bill for women is needed for rural area people. Most of the people in the rural area they won't educate their children. If government provide some quota they will educate the women.

In my my point of view, there should be quota for indigent women who belong to 'backward classes. Many people think that 2015 is a male chauvinism free century, but is actually not. Even today, in some regions women are paid less than men for doing the same amount of work. Some places in India have not even progressed since 50 years, they still immure their wives and daughters in homes, not allowing them to step outside the home for work.

These things may be prevented by women quota, providing a platform to the women to march into domains which has been previously dominated by men, putting the sexes on equal footing.

This reservation should not be mistaken for injustice, as it is only been done to put the two genders on equal platform.

Well I reckoned that no reservation should be given to Women as they are totally equal to Men in each and every field. By giving reservation it shows that women are not up to the level of Men and reservation is helping them to make them up to that level. In today's era Women proved themselves in every field and there are many legendary examples of that such as Kalpana Chawla, Indira Noory, Neerja Bhanot etc.

Now a days what women require is safety from the society. This is how the constitution can help the women.

Yes, I think the women quota should be applied because we the people of India believe in equality. So there should be equal rights for women. They should come forward and raise their issues. Its need of time that we have to provide the platform to them and support in women empowerment. Reservation quota for women will bring immense great employment opportunities for women in all sectors of society.

I Would like to say that, why politician are trying to divide man and woman on the basis of reservation.

We people have much example about reservation SC, ST, And OBC, DO YOU Think that much changed in this area.

NO need to give reservation.

In my point of view, reservation is not a solution to empowered women.

Central and state government Should take some action like.

Equal opportunities in every field, create a safe and enabling work environment for women.

And awareness among rural women's this type of thing happens then there is no need of reservation.

In my mind, women should be given reservation in politics because of the following reasons such like let's think there was practically no education for women prior to independence women looked after domestic works. There were educationally, socially, culturally and politically.

In my opinion women reservation is not necessary, what necessary is attitude of persona towards women. They are considered to be weak and not able to do outside work. They spent all the life in just making food and doing all other household work. Then tell me even if reservation will be provided to women their condition is not going to improve b/c our attitude towards them.

I want to give an example -according to company bill it is made compulsory to have atleast one women in the group of directors but according to SEBI about 1/3rd company does not have any women director upto 31st march. So on the basis of above e.g I can say we need to change our perception towards women rather than bringing new legislation to provide them reservation.
