Yes, I am with women empowerment mission but we should make sure that they should be given proper protection and guidance. Nowadays in the name of empowerment they are exploited and bluffed.

Hi, my dear friends.

Myself Sooraj Singh.

All my friends gave their view on the necessity of women quota bill.

I like their view on this topic but I have different Point of view about it.

First of all, we need to know about reservation it means giving authorities those people who are not capable reaching at a higher level without by means.

If we give reservation to women it means they are not capable of doing this but we can see women in every field what they are doing. We need to think why women are not reaching there because.

1 - Security problem for women.

2 - Some people think women can not do this.

3 - Women have lower literacy rate than men (67% for women and 87% for men).

So these problems cause not participating women in parliament.

We can understand what is the need. Providing reservation is not the solution for women empowerment. We need to women aware through giving for free education especially backward. Then we can see women as the national leader.

But we are to give reservation give such fields like which indicate less capacity like air jet flying, combat jet flying as well as etc.

Thanks to all my unknown friends.

We all are talking about the women reservation bill which is likely to give 33% reservation to women in Lok sabha. In my opinion, there should be reservation for women but first at the education level. No doubt in recent years, we have seen much betterment in women's condition but still we cannot say that we have reached the equality level and whosoever is saying this should go to villages and backward areas and see the condition of women.

And we should remember that originally in the constitution the reservation was mentioned for women. But the various amendments in constitution changed its face.

But I am against at giving reservation in politics. Even if women get the reservation at that level, it would be difficult for an ordinary woman with no political background to reach there. There would be a situation that instead of existing male politicians their wife and daughters will be holding the position.

There will be no change for ordinary women who are really suffering.

Hi, I am Sudhakar, I am going to speak in favour the topic.

Yes, we require a quota bill for women empowerment,

Especially in India, women are still struggling to get basic rights in India. They are getting humiliated in many ways. There are many woman quotas already exist in India, still women are not getting equality in the society. There is the necessity to implement an effective women quota bill to give them equality and for their serviceability.

Women are working equality to men, still we are underestimating them, women are not getting jobs everywhere as men, just because they are women. In poor families, most of the girls not getting the basic education system, government to should come forward to implement a strong quota for women to give them equality and make them educated.

Hi friends,

To me having women's quota in politics is a great idea to empower women in India but do we really think by having this bill passed alone women will really be empowered in Indian society? Off course NOT.

In order to irradicate this issue from India society, we need to work at class-hood level. We need to give girl's education more priority as it will make them independent and then they will not need such reservation.

I strongly oppose on giving quota for women instead I want that political system should be opened to all if any person whether male or female has strong leadership quality he must be allowed to enter into the politics but the condition is that he/she may not involve themselves in corruption and try to fulfill the purpose for which the are appointed.

As in today's world, ever one is equal whether male or female so equal preference should both. Also before appointing them one should check their action in past.

If we really want women's growth then why reservation gives in the form of marks. It's one of the barriers in the development of our nation because we are promoting women's in various field by reservation not by their ability. How they will compete with the man who got the good position by his own ability not by reservation.

Hello, guys.

The numerical quota system cannot bring the good we are trying to bring in the society rather it creates turbulence and give rise to terms like reverse discrimination, preference based system is more justifiable because it will not lock the numbers and at the same time it will reduce the disparity any institution have and will leverage the diversity (take gender here) , like if there is sheer lack of female population in any field, a preference will be given but quality and talent will always be a parameter and on the other hand preferences will be given to the needy (I mean to exempt the big public figures, or politicians family tree) this system will not let the people exploit this policy who are already empowered or the people who create a dummy representation in shadow of quota.

I think that there is a necessity to pass Women Quota Bill for Women Empowerment-

This Women Quota bill or the constitution (108th amendment) bill, proposes to reserve 33% of seats in the Lok Sabha as well as state legislative assemblies for women.

The critics of this bill oppose it, mainly because-.

1. Equality- They believe that if this bill will be passed then, it would be fair for the male candidates, and it does tamper the notion equality in the society. But, is equality still practised today?

The answer is 'NO', and that's the reason of so many female foeticides, sexual assaults and discrimination of a girl child over a boy child in India. So, if equality is not thought over there, why equality is being pondered over here?

2. Growth- They say that it would dampen the growth of the nation and will affect it adversely. I don't think so, on the contrary, it will enhance women safety in the society. There are so many male politicians who have a criminal background or are rapist and sexual assaulters, how can we expect them to take fair decisions on behalf of a woman? Only a women can take decision which would benefit the women community.

3. Experience- There is already a reservation of 33.33% of seats in panchayat elections for women. The experience of women's reservation at the panchayat level is very encouraging and I do think that it would prove the same at the big level as well.

Thanks a lot!
