Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus

Venus is the Roman goddess associated with love, beauty and fertility. That's more like a women.
Mars is the Roman god of war, an agricultural guardian, a Roman deity second in importance only to Jupiter in the Roman pantheon, most prominent of military gods worshipped by the Roman legions, honoured throughout the realm of conquering Romans. Well... that sounds to me like a man.

As per my thought! A man and Woman both are complements of each other who are working with all paces along with. Nowadays we can not say that both are different with each other where they are working at the same level, whether it be home or office so over all I can say that both personalities having same power to achieve their goals.

Yes I agree with the point that generally men can be recognized for their bravery, anger and strength and women for their beauty and simplicity. These are the general considerations. But I think both men and women are created in earth only with their individuality as we all know men can also have emotional character with love and beauty and women have more maturity as they are the main reason for success.

To carry forward the discussion i would like to say that this quote try to convey that men and women are differently same.....dey do react differently to different situation but dey r aware of each others reaction and henceforth behave differently....as we al know dat opposite attaracts so dats the reason god have made two different things to achieve same objective i.e mission of "Happines"

Sorry Sanvi, I feel your are very much emotional, take things simply.. I also agree that the womens have the buety of venus, but i don't agree with the statement womens are not practical, may be they can reach the level of thoughts of a men, but they have their own way of practical thoughts..

Without the awareness that we are supposed to be different, men and women are at odds with each other. We usually become angry or frustrated with the opposite sex because we have forgotten this important truth. We expect the opposite sex to be more like ourselves. We desire them to "want what we want" and "feel the way we feel. " We mistakenly assume that if our partners love us they will react and behave in certain ways-the ways we react and behave when we love someone. This attitude sets us up to be disappointed again and again and prevents us from taking the necessary time to communicate lovingly about our differences.

Men mistakenly expect women to think, communicate, and react the way men do; women mistakenly expect men to feel, communicate, and respond the way women do. We have forgotten that men and women are supposed to be different. As a result our relationships are filled with unnecessary friction and conflict. Clearly recognizing and respecting these differences dramatically reduce confusion when dealing with the opposite sex. When you remember that men are from Mars and women are from Venus, everything can be explained.

In Olden days it is possible saying mens are from mars and women are from venus but nowadays it was changed because both men and women have both equal rights and both were strong and practical. Both loving, caring, cool, fight, simplicity etc.

I completely agree with that quote. There are several examples that shows that a woman is river of mercy. As for example 'mother teresa'. A mother (woman) always try to save their family most. That why we generally says that "if a woman is educated then whole family will be educated".

Here given quote stands that 'a woman takes more response than a man'.

Mars, the roman god known for his bravery and strength. The planet now called as mars was named due to some similarities with the god. Venus, the roman goddess known for her beauty and simplicity. The planet now called as Venus was named upon the goddess. We had named the planets. So how can man come from mars and woman from Venus as we named them for the easiness to call them. If men from mars and women from Venus then who are from the earth? According to me all of us are from the earth, on the earth due to its definite environment.

I would like to share my views upon this. As we all know Mars belongs to a red hot planet while Venus stands as soft planet (goddess of love etc. ). But its not fare to consider men's from Mars and women from Venus. Hence its not necessary to consider human nature according to sexuality. So its better to consider both from the earth itself. Because our earth stands for as impartial!
