If the question arises about justification, then of course it is justified for any country to make developments in science and technology. But, in the case of India or any other developing or underdeveloped countries, the question usually arises in the case of space missions because these countries usually suffer in poverty a lot. In India, 40 per cent of the people come from malnutrition. The Mars Mission or any other space missions certainly make a mark in the case of development in science and technologies but this doesn't mean the overall development of the country. The question will not arise if the government also focuses on the problems related to poverty, malnutrition, corruption, and lots of other sectors needing development. So at the end, I must say the Mars Mission is always justified in India, but only if our country equally focuses on overall development.

I don't think mars mission is justified. As India, is a developing country instead of spending huge amount of money on the mars mission it should be spent in health and education sector for the betterment of people. The only advantage is the satisfaction of ego nothing else. Mars mission took 300 days for completion of mission and it took 100 days to go out of the earth orbit and if there may be technical fault then it results in the wastage of money and a big threat for the earth.

Hello everyone,

I am Atul Kumar,

Mars mission fully justified. ISRO has completed this mission with a very cheap cost, its shows India's achievement in the field of space research, not only Mars Indian scientists have justified in other mission Eg. Chandrayan, which proves the ability of ISRO.

Hello everyone.

In my opinion, the mars mission of India marked a good image for an Indian. The Indian scientist shows their ability and knowledge about new or modern technology in researched society through this mission. Through this mission India got his fourth position to reach moon surface successfully. Also the Indian student is now motivated to do research on modern physics and engineering. Last of all I can say that it is the most beautiful project in India.

Mar's mission is fully justified.

After the success of the Chandrayan 3 mission which was a soft landing on the moon in the South Pole India is the first one who make it possible. Indian scientists is highly motivated after the success of Chandrayan 3 and now Indian scientists have launched Aditya -L1 a mission on Sun.

In my opinion, Mars mission is absolutely justified. As one of my friends said, investment in science and technology is equally important as spending on social issues and basic amenities is. What if we just keep on spending on education and health but we don't have enough jobs and technologies to serve those people? Also, Because of all these achievements, people in the world know our country and respect us, it also matters.

In my point of view, what you guys discussed is actually different, Mars mission is like a competition for other countries, and we mean our country is one step forward from other countries in technology we support the Indian cricket team to win, like this we support this mars mission also, investing mars mission money into on poor people it's wrong thinking, for poor people another scheme to be the plan.

Mission Mars is fully justified because we as Indians should show the world where we stand in terms of technology.

And the world should not underestimate India as a technologically inefficient country.

Good morning everyone,

Mars mission for India is always justified because of successful lending on mars and the image and reputation of INDIA on the global map increases our scientists were intelligent and efficient in their work they completed the whole Mars mission under the budget of 450cr from launching their first satellite in space to perfect soft lending on mars and back to earth but in my opinion there are other big problem to deal with as we all know India is still a developing nation as there is no perfect solution for poverty, hunger, unemployment in India.

In India there are more than 1/3 of the population is struggling with increasing rates of unemployment, increasing lack of education etc.

Our government should invest the money in India for the sake of the development of infrastructure, the building of libraries in every city of India, and places to stay for beggars and should provide food and shelter to area and people who are still under the line of poverty.

We all know that in today's time life on the moon and Mars and even in space is not possible because of lack of oxygen and gravitation force so why our government is spending money on this type of mission just for the sake of knowledge about space.

In my opinion, this mission is justified because it is directly connects with our sentiment and love towards the nation but the government should start focusing on the main problem with which our half of the nation is dealing.

Thank you and have a wonderful day.
