According to me managerial skills that learnt in classroom are the basics for live experience.without knowing the theoritical knowledge it is difficult to handle the situation.so I agree that the managerial skills that learnt in classroom can match the live experience.

As both are at their place in this real world. Where both theoretical and real-life experiences are needed. But the managerial life that we learn in the real world is too good in comparison to classroom knowledge.

As the book provides us the theories the real world provides us with experience on so both have their important role in student life.

Experiance is the better teacher than the teacher in the classroom. Most of the things which we learn in the classroom is used to score marks in the examinations only. It is just like mugging up and vomitting and we omit to apply in practice. The live eperience alone is used more often to lead our lives.

Hi Everyone, I feel it's very much true.

Managerial skills is developed better within the person when they have practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. They should have experience with them to face all kind of situations. Theory don't work in handling businesses in the exact same way how it is taught, it is something which should be experienced by being a part of it. Some minute things which should be given a lot of attention are not even taught properly theoretically but can be noted and managed well in a practical situation.

So, when it is about managing things and situations it is practical knowledge and experience that speaks volumes than theoretical knowledge.

I would say that managerial skills could be developed only if one tries to tackle the situation effectively where ever one is and what ever the situation is. This could be learn t even in class or at any place, experience would however betters ones performance or skill.

But we cannot say that the class room managerial skills would dominate the real world experiences.

Personally, I feel that there should be no comparison between managerial skills learned in the classroom and those learned via experience. Because both fill in the gaps and enrich one's personality.

The skills we learn in class are put to use in real-world circumstances, and vice versa. Instead of comparing, we must recognise that both methods are naturally correlated.

Well, here we are comparing the managerial skills developed by learning in classroom and the other one gained by experience. Though theoretical background is essential but one could develop these skills only through experience by facing critical situations where one has to take correct decisions. One just cannot play the game just by knowing the rules but by implementing those rules while practicing. We also see various great businessmen who don't have MBA degree. They were not managers by birth but their experience makes them perfect in their managerial skills.

The fact that real-world experience is any better than classroom or bookish knowledge. If we talk about a classroom or closed environment scenario, the situation is very much ideal. When we go out in the real world, things are very dynamic there. The sudden change of things and when things turn out differently from the planning, now the real managerial skill takes over.

Real-world problem requires planning and execution, and at the same time, keeping in mind what to do if things turn out differently, such things are not something that can be simulated in a classroom.

But you can always learn from someone else's mistake. Why do people even spend time on solving and reading cases and their scenarios. You can learn from the situations of that time and can take help from the referances. If these things implementes successfully then you can turn out any unfavourable situation in your favour.

Conclusion: Practical knowledge and real life managerial skills have no comparison with the classroom knowledge but if classroom knowledge applied carefully in unfavourable situations because someone else's mistake is someone's learning so we can make most out of the situation and can handle the situation in a better way.
